It's official playing killer is impossible until after rank reset
Seriously im barely under rank 10 (8 to be exact) and every match i get is ranks 4-2 like ######### where are all the purple ranked survivors? Oh i know de-ranked to green so they can bully the rank 18-14 killers

I’m purple rank and I’m getting green, red and purple killers so maybe it’s just the region? They’re probably all playing rank 20-14 and 4-1 killers because of how messed up the matchmaking is even without deranking or SWF based on my friend and I playing killer for first time post reset due to queues and they’re rank 18 getting purple/green and I’m rank 13 getting the same.

It's really not that bad. I've even been having a bit of success with Trapper lately.

No, it is only impossible for you with that attitude at the moment. Keep trying you will eventualy kill them all more than not

I get that rank is messed up right now but it's almost time for rank reset again. Red ranks are basically mid rank right now so it's not impossible to play killer.

It's gotten easier to rank up as survivor. I'm a rank 7 survivor and I'm terrible so. I also noticed a lot of DBD streamers have been getting more potato survivor teammates lately even in red ranks. I'm rank 9 killer and I've been getting some red rank survivors and personally I haven't found it anymore challenging than usual.

I find this to be the case in Oce, however tbh I've not been having trouble with the red rank survivors I've been getting this month.

Most streamers play on pc not ps4 where i play that means potentially different experiences,

it's not impossible! you just have to do your best as a killer. i'm currently in the green ranks, close to purple, and games aren't as difficult as they're claimed to be. i'm even getting red survivors and other swf groups.

Red survivors arent bad solo and i agree the games were a breeze a green but when you have red rank swfs at purple there is literally 0 chance

You still have a chance. The most important part is to not let them bait you into a long chase. Focus on gens and learn when to make sacrifices such as a gen for a hook or a hook for a gen. Once you can get good gen pressure, it won't matter what they do.

I just make up ######### to do to keep my sanity going in this game. Just do random achievements or something. Here's one I'm trying right now (it's even loreful if you're into that kind of stuff):
Squeaky Toy: As the Doctor, down all 4 survivors with Feng Min on your shoulder.
This also helps get the achievement "Heavy Burden."

I'm stuck at yellow because it's hard as F to rank up.

I think it depends on the opponents you get. I had (as Rank 10 then) a game against a red rank 4man swf that stomped me into the ground, but another game (rank 9) where I 4k'ed a 4man swf (2reds 1 purple, 1green) with Freddy and doublepipped. Just depends. Lern from your stronger opponents and go on.

thing is, half the time when you 3k or 4k. You still either depip or only safety. Matchmaking is scuffed beyond belief
