is this bannable?

i run a program called orochi-ceg when i play cause my frames suck for some games. not all games, but some games like overwatch i will have 17 fps unless i run orochi. is that bannable in DBD? it doesnt let me see through walls or anything messed up like that. just fixes with my frames.
(for some reason i could only post in general, sorry :P)

Well, if it manipulates game files, you can get banned, but the developers won't hunt you down because that's a EAC thing.
However, if it doesn't manipulate game files, you should be fine as long as you're not getting a competitive advantage.

There is no guaranteeing you won't be banned or not. You can use it, but use it at your own risk. I can't make promises, but there should be no problems if it doesn't interfere with game files.

Well, when the program that runs the ######### RGB lighting of your machine gets you banned, I'm surprised turning on your computer doesn't get you banned.
######### EAC.

@AetherBytes In all honesty, EAC isn't all that great, I'm not sure why so many companies want to keep paying Epic for the license. Just go ask Respawn, for example, how well it's worked out for them in Apex Legends.

@Kilmeran ikr? I'm trying to get an appeal but so far EAC is refusing to even respond to me. I swear if I lose my stats and DLC cause their piece of ######### is broken I will demand a refund of the game and all my DLC.

@AetherBytes Let me know on my Wall if you get it resolved. I've never been banned by EAC (knock on wood) but from all I hear at various sites and forums, they are notoriously bad about responding. As in: the reputation is Legendary.
And it has not improved in the slightest since Epic bought them out.
