115% Legion Mega Fix
The Legion used to be a 110% Killer, but had some problems. In an attempt to fix those problems I made the following post:
Personally that's how I would fix the Legion.
However since I initially made the fix the Legion update happened and he was made into a 115% Killer who is less reliant on his power. Thus due to popular demand here is how I could make that work instead, and yes I will be using a lot of stuff from the link I just posted:
Anything that I didn't say is changed should be assumed to be identical to the live version:
- Frenzy now has a 1 second startup during which time the Legion stops moving and looks straight up while roaring. This can be easily heard by nearby survivors.
- The Legions vaulting speed is buffed to 1 second for both windows and pallets. However vaulting now drains 10% of your power.
- Vaulting a pallet is now only available during Killer Instinct (you can still fast vault windows whenever).
- The Legion can now preform break actions at 135% speed during Frenzy.
- Feral Frenzy movement speed is buffed to 5.2 M/S and the duration stays at 10 seconds
- Each time you apply deep wounds while in Frenzy the duration drains 50% slower (also slows the drain from vaults) for the remainder of the Frenzy and will have the fatigue time reduced by 1 second (base time is still 4 seconds) down to a minimum of 1.
- Deep Wounds now bleeds out depending on distance to the Killer. The farther the faster. This is not effected by terror radius. Additionally the Killer may now see the bar drain.
0-16 meters = 0 charges per second
17-24 = 1 charges per second
25-32 = 2 charges per second
32+ = 3 charges per second
A survivor is downed at 0 charges and starts with 60 when hit the first time (affected by addons) and will not go below 10 charges while mending. If it is already below 10 it will instead just pause.
- Striking a survivor who has deep wounds applied on them drains the bar by 10 charges.
- Hitting a survivor with M1 no longer drains the bar and the base cooldown is put back at 15 seconds. You still need a full bar to use the power
- Mending now has Skill Checks but takes 5 seconds less by default (10 down from 15)
- Killer Instinct's tracking is now aura and thus is hidden by lockers, generators and distortion.
- Exposed or Injured survivors start with half the charges when put into Deep wounds from frenzy (30 charges instead of 60 normally) this does not stack.
Some things to note:
- The 0.2 M/S increase compared to live combined with the 1 second stun results in needing to be within 8 meters of a survivor when activating your power to catch them
- The vault drain and speed up makes vaulting drain your power by exactly 2 seconds. And the break speed increase also takes exactly 2 seconds and requires you to initially be 2.8 meters closer in order to still catch up. After 4 vaults you will guaranteed not catch up no matter the starting distance.
- Depending on the number of survivors hit starting from 0 you can catch up to a Survivor from 8/18/24/30/36 meters away with a duration of 10/15/20/25/30 seconds. Remember that this accounts for the self stun for the initial distance.
- Hitting a single person and then canceling your ability will give them 3.9 meters. From here downing them takes about 6.5 seconds. This is mathematically identical to my other fix.
Unlike with the other Legion fix which was designed to maximize on making Frenzy a more lethal power, this fix instead focuses more on his utility and effectiveness against groups. That's not to say I didn't do anything for his lethality here or his utility in the other rework, but just that they had a slightly different focus from each other.
I still prefer the 110% version, however this should help keep it balanced for 115%
