I like the fresh start. It just feels nice, especially with the new way the leveling/bloodmarket system works. but hey I seem to be the only one who likes a fresh start

They won't be allowing the transfer of progress. The mobile game is built as a free to play microtransaction based game. You get 2 killers and 2 survivors, and you'll have to spend money to unlock the rest, unless you want to grind for months on end. Transfering progress and/or characters from the base game would take away their opportunity to milk players for cash. Also, transferring unlocked perks and addons won't work, due to the way you individually level and learn perks per character.

As it currently stands, it'll cost 10200 Auric cells (300 are given for free) to access all characters, not including any cosmetics. I'll let you all do the maths in your local currency of how much that'll cost you. This is also just for 12 out of the 16 killers, and 14 out of 17 survivors. The full roster, once added, would be equal to a grand total of 13700 Auric Cells. Again, you do the math.

In summary, the mobile game is just another mobile free to play game designed to milk players of money through microtransactions.

Thats not fair. I spend a lot of money on ps4 dbd and i dont want to start all over again...

So don't spend that much on it, look at it as just a secondary place to get a dbd fill if you've already spent money elsewhere. Buy your couple favorite characters, then just play when you can't be with your main system.

    No platform has crossover saves.

Your best bet is to get a new ps4 if you want to play as fair has little to do with it when it comes to business.

Not entirely true for all games, but for DbD it certainly is.

Another issue with allowing transfers in a game with microtransactions is what we are seeing with Sony's reluctance to allow cross-play/progression with other platforms in their games. Sony/Microsoft/Nintendo/Apple etc. take a cut for everything purchased on their platform. None of the platform holders are particularly interested in customers buying cosmetics on one platform, and being able to use them on theirs. MS and Nintendo are pushing for this, because at the end of the day, there is a bigger chance of more purchases being made on their platforms from people spilling over from the PlayStation playerbase, whereas Sony risk losing a significant amount of money allowing this.

That's what I meant. I was speaking specifically about DBD when I mentioned no crossover saves on any platform 😉

    3* 3 free survivors 😛

Honestly just suprised they didn't include wraith and Jake in that mix as they all came with the original release of dbd and are sort of the original charecters many people identify with/main 😢
