Freddys traps should place instantly but take the same time to arm.

ie it would be a quality of life change, he can still place them in a chase, and they still have time to arm, just they are placed instantly allowing you to place and forget.
Also he should have an ultra rare, that increases the time to fall asleep but gives aura reading of those outside of his lullaby distance

Agreed. It's really clunky and obnoxious to use in a chase.
IMO, it's one of the biggest reasons why Dream Pallets are way stronger. They're effortless.

Bingo, if they worked as suggested they'd make dream pallets a great alternative which is what there supposed to be :)
