How to depip without screwing ppl over

I've reached red rank with my survivor and now my real life friends and family are scared to swf with me because I do occasionally pull a red rank killer and they stand about 30 seconds of a chance.

How do I depip without screwing people on my team over? I can keep playing solo or with other red rank players, but have more fun with my family and friends.

Any ideas?

Leave the match when you're on the last hook, or at the escape gate. But this won't give you any points either.

@chefdave12118 Tell them to git gud seems like the only way.
    Or change your family!

Yeah. Losing the blood points is a drag, but that's an idea .

Season reset is in 7 days. Just wait until then and try to pip at the same rate they do for a while.

Family stays lol and they're getting better, but you guys know how rank 1-5 killers are or can be . Actually rank 20 killers can be a bigger pain in the ass because they face camp haha. They do need to god gud . 😂

I would imagine pulling your plug during loading should make survivors need four gens instead of five? And it won’t show up right away, but you do depip from it. That’s about as close as you can get to losing pips without screwing people over and even then, you’re screwing them over. I mean, survivors are a team, you’re basically trying to be so bad that the game punishes you for it. How can you not be screwing others over at that point?

This is what I was thinking too, but wanna have fun with them on the double blood point event. This is the best idea and them facing some bad ass killers will learn them a thing or two

Honestly, I've been playing with 2 other friends whilst they went from rank 20 to 15, meanwhile I stayed stagnant Rank 1. It didn't really effect anything, especially since they don't really mind losing here and there. Since you upgrade to SWF you're put at a major advantage.

Do all of one category, none of the rest. You'll depip 50% of the time.

Run either a altruism build, gen build, or bait/chase buiod and ONLY do the role you pick.

The easiest is the gen build, since you can sit at a gen till you get pulled off and still contribute fairly well to the team.

That's the answer I needed. I just need to get down to at least rank 10 and this could be the way to do it without screwing anyone over.

The queues are longer when it's harder to find a match for SWF. When my group was at Rank 17 and I was tryharding to Rank 1, games would take YEARS to find, to the point where we settled for 250 ping as long as we were playing.

I recommend leaving match once every couple of games (like 1 in 3-4) once you get put on your last hook, as a previous poster suggested. Depipping 1 by 1 is really mind-numbing and can take multiple hours. Plus the killer gets more bloodpoints when you do.

That's the other thing . The wait times are crazy when it's me and a 18,17 and 19. That takes some of the fun away for them too (I believe I'm a pip from rank 4).

And dc'ing worries me because dbd has a fairly small player base and I don't want to be known as the player that DC's (I also stream on YouTube).

So I'm either just going to be a gen jockey and leave the unhooking and healing to others or just wait for the rank reset and really pay attention to not getting to this point again .

Btw...  I'm really not that good of a player. It's pretty easy to pip lately . I'm ok, but not great .
