Who Would You Fear Most?
If you were, in real life, out in the woods at night, which killer would you be most terrified to see looming behind some trees in the distance? For me, it'd be the hag. Her twisted, gnarled body and ragged breathing would be awful to see scampering around.

Hm... Hard question. Probably Huntress, though if I'm close enough to see her, hearing the lullaby should've been enough to set off my "######### this" sensors and have me leave.

I think you can outrun Myers pretty easily. Just be careful not to fall and break your ankle

Last I checked I'm not Chuck Norris so honestly any killer (or Nea) in DBD would get my heart racing.

Plague. Would be worried about the diseases. Not afraid to take on any of the others with a 12 gauge and hunting rifle.

Probably hillbilly, like I don't know about all of you but seeing a crazed chainsaw maniac speeding at me would be actually terrifying. Trapper and hag would be incredibly close tied second, you can't really run from them and picturing this happening on a dark night in a dense forest, nope.

I want to say either Myers for his looming presence, or Spirit and Nurse for their supernatural abilities, but the more I think about having the bones in my leg splintered by a beartrap, the more I want to say Trapper. I mean, a beartrap easily has enough force to sever your foot. At the very least, Myers, Spirit, and Nurse will kill you pretty quick. Getting snagged in a beartrap is going to be agonizing. The Trapper, at least if all his traps are set, creates or horrific minefield that makes it dangerous to even run from him.

I think all of them would be equally terrifiying to run from, like i really don't want to die or risk being injured. some injuries seem worse then others though ie trappers bear traps/amandas reverse bear traps both literally tear you apart. but at the same time, im not as scared of a big man with a machete/small lady with a blade. honestly i think the ones that would implement the most terror would be those shrouded in the supernatural, people like wraith, spirit, nurse, those who can catch you and hide out of sight. though then again a hillbilly screaming running through the forest would likely get my heart racing just the same. Myers however likely takes the cake. he's the only one to consistently scare me in the game (one of the reasons i love to play as and against him) and i think if anything i'd feel the most scared knowing im being watched, stalked even. the doctor might torture, and the trapper might rend my legs to shreds, but myers.. he's something else.

I would fear the wraith, his costumes are creepy, his breathing and the bell before you actually see him is like a sign before your inevitable death

Honestly I would probably be scared enough to be unable to move regardless of which killer it is. Just look at any killer objectively and tell me there's one that wouldn't scare you to death.
Let's go into detail in terms of your described scenario. You're out in the woods at night. It's dark and the area is widely open with loads of trees, fog and there's nothing to defend yourself. You already feel vulnerable. All of a sudden:
- you see Hillbilly sprinting through the fog right at you fast like a car and he wants to kill you with a chainsaw which seems is a gruesome way to die. I would probably die of a heart attack before he gets me.
- you see Trapper placing a bear trap. As soon as he notices you he starts powerwalking after you menacingly wielding his cleaver. There's tall grass everywhere and you KNOW he's been spending an unknown period of time placing said traps everywhere. You know those traps will tear your legs apart but at the same time you know so will he if he catches you.
- you notice Wraith (cloaked) running in your direction. His ability is supernatural and thus naturally scares you as you can't tell just what this "creature" is capable of. Since he's "kind of" invisible you can barely tell where he is while running from him. Everything's dark and foggy. You try and hide in a corner (like a rank 20 survivor using urban evasion) when suddenly a bing bong sound breaks the silence and he windstorms at you swinging his spine weapon.
I reckon I'll stop here as it'd take all day to describe all the other killers and most people wouldn't read it anyways haha. Kinda wish there were more cinematics in the game.

Surprised Leatherface hasn’t been said lol. As a kid he scared the hell out of me from his size, wailing noises and of course his chainsaw. On top of me a natural fear of chainsaws, I’d most likely freeze in fear if I saw him running after me. 😅

The Plague
Imagine being chased by a 7 foot tall woman puking at you then you start dying from the plague.
You have to hide and fix generators while dying from a devastating sickness knowing that the crazy lady is after you.
You couldn't even trust your friends because they could be infected. If they save you you're killing them by giving them a fatal illness if the big lady doesn't first.
If you try to cure yourself she can use your sickness to turn her puke into acid she'll use to burn you alive.

Myers probably takes the cake on this one. Other than that, seeing a Nurse flying all over the place(especially with multiple blinks) would scare the living hell out of me. I would have trouble hiding, because she could appear anywhere at any time, and it'd just feel like I could never get away from her.

Aside from Freddy, Doctor's probably one of the most likely to torture you to death... For science!
And by torture, I mean perform unnecessary, excruciating medical procedures such as vivisection, unanesthetized lobotomies, etc.,

I would be scared of Myers if I was aware of him, he'd end up getting to me and even killing me before I'd know, Legion isn't too scary to me because I know I run for speed, so just a chase test, how long we can hold out, the thought of Leatherface squealing behind my back while I hear his chainsaw swing left and right as I am running from him directly in front of him sounds terrifying as hell. Hillbilly is worrisome and all but I don't imagine he'd be as scary to me as some others. I'd always have to watch my ass with Huntress. Michael is a artist in fear and killing, he is patient and can wait, Trapper is brutal, imagine him, you're running form him, you're only means of escape is blocked off by a trap, you could try and get around it, but he knows just as well as you that you'd be dead. He takes his swifts steps to you, with his fist gripping into his blooded Machete.

In real life, I could easily outrun any of the killers, including Billy if we are in the woods (loads of obstacles). But not Nurse. If she sees you, she gets you. Thats truly terrifying.
