So I was opening the exit gate injured and the killer put me in dying state. Once they tried to pick me up, instead of picking me up, they opened the exit gate. I wish I had recorded. I am still laughing. The killer was totally cool about it though. Props to amyschild.

    Putting yourself in front of a locker, dropped pallet, or window can force a killer to perform actions other than picking you up too if the killer isn't savvy enough to turn around first.

    Honestly the Killer had a mental lapse then. Simply because to open a gate its a channel and to pick up its a button press/ click.

    Why he held down the button instead of just clicking it i'm not sure...

    This only works on low killers, but yeah, actaully pretty funny.

    @ElusivePukka I know, I've just never had it happen in front of an exit gate before. It was really funny. He didn't try to pick me up in front of the exit gate originally, he walked off, and I just crawled to the door because he also had Franklin's and I wanted to pick my med kit up and get out after someone got me back up. When he came back to pick me up, I was horizontal which caused him to open the gate.

    @HazeHound I think it was because people aren't used to killers being able to open the exit gates.


    @Justice  As a killer you don't have to hold the button afaik. I could be wrong but it isn't like survivors opening gates I know for sure.


    @Ember_Hunter Same if I can't get to a pallet, lol. It doesn't always work but sometimes it does.

    Just be careful - killer opening a gate is often a setup for blood warden.

    @Darktrix this killer didn't open it on purpose. He tried to pick me up but instead opened the exit gate because I was right under it, lol.
