Vaulting and still getting hit?!

I know everyone here is a victim of fast vaulting and taking a few steps and still getting hit why does killer reach extend past window? Terrible needs to be fixed I don't wanna run vault take 2 or 3 steps and still get hit through the wall cause the killer red light is there entire reach range.

    It slightly extends the window. To be hit (while not vaulting, on the other side tho) you need to be super close to the window.
