The Trapper Experience.
I've made a few of these so this is next up in my set of Characters I got into and started liking.
My big boy Trapper was ignored for a long time, now I used him with the extra traps add ons which in my opinion is the most OP, especially strong for being brown and yellow add ons, I run Save the Best for Last, Barbecue and Chili, Agitation and free slot.
I start off my games with trap setting, I have no beginning game pressure or potential with gens at first, I do the trick where I make half the trap visible at Killer's shack, a gen or the game two might pop, oh well, if I spawn at basement, I know I have a high chance at winning, I will bait Survivors into the shack, I've had Survivors waste god pallet only to get hit by the trap. I have one hooked Survivor in basement, almost every time it turns into 4, some smart Survivors won't save in the basement because that is death.
I feel fast and strong with Trapper, his machete looks cool, quite cool, excited for his new upcoming cosmetics.
Trapper is powerful, if you have your concrete strategy deployed and get fire it off successfully, the game will be fun, a laugh and a breeze, if not? Try again, it always has it going for you. Trapper is not too much of a struggle for me, I don't run Brutal on him cause I'll mind game any way or they just don't run for pallets and go for window vaults.
I still like the way Myers scares people though. I've actually pulled a ton of Survivors off a gen with Trapper, maybe they were gen cocky?
Been able to keep Gens regressing by trapping them, if they try to disarm, I know someone is planning on working on it.

It would be cool that he could:
1) Pick up the trap like per regular.
2) Kick the trap to make it launch open and spring wide. Shoving his foot in it to open it?

I don't agree with being able to reopen traps on the spot. If a survivor noticed and disarmed your trap, the smart thing to do would be to pick it up and arm it somewhere else, don't you think?

@RoKrueger Not if you're putting it back in the same spot to lock down an area.
Like basement shack windows/door areas or ironworks god window.

Feel like I should leave this here. The guy keeps putting out videos and builds for trapper that makes him look OP, lol.

I main Trapper because I like the strategic aspect of his power. That said, there is nothing OP about Trapper or his addons. Heck, the biggest tweak he needs is to have 3 traps from start and remove the extra trap from bag addons. Maybe make the bag addons allow the trapper to get traps from lockers instead of them laying all over.
Trapper is very slow at first and needs time to set the field. Vs a good gen rush, he can be problematic at best.

I agree this feels really easy to put in the game and should be done very quickly. I also think they should make doctor and leatherfsce stronger.

Trapper Boi Buffs
Bear Traps spawn in Lockers.
Each Locker contains at least 1 Bear Trap (without add-ons).
Auras of Lockers that have Bear Traps in them are shown to the Trapper.
Bear Traps can't be Sabotaged.
Trapper can reset Bear Traps from the ground.
