Bleeding out your survivors
Ok i have had this a few times lately and it is getting annoying. 3 of us alive. we end up all downed. the killer watches us die on the floor one by one, doing so to annoy and to get the hatch closing points.
there needs to be a limit on this. them just sitting there while we bleed out and not hooking us is making me not want to play.

It is not long. Go afk and make yourself a lemonade.

You're referring to "slugging" which can be countered by numerous perks actively or passively.
- unbreakable: Allows you to recover 33% faster and get up "without help" once per trial
- tenacity: allows you to crawl 50% faster AND recover at the same time allowing you to crawl towards a team mate WHILE recovering making slugging extremely difficult if not even useless as the killer will have no idea where you went unless they run deerstalker
- no mither: allows you to get up infinitely [till you eventually run out of blood so not exactly infinitely] (but allows any killer to instadown you)
- buckle up: allows team mates to see your recovery status/progress AND if someone helps you get up you AND the person who healed you are able to see the killer's aura for up to 6 seconds allowing both of you to avoid him making it extremely difficult for the killer to slug one of you again - at least right away.

Run No Mither. You'll literally never be slugged again.

tbf these counters are pretty bad, only unbreakable works well and its 1 time use, no mither will get you killed most times

@CoffengMin True. No Mither is basically "suicide mode" in most cases but some perks actually worked out a few times for me. Unbreakable is obviously decent albeit not a complete counter against killers who intend to slug all game due to its one time use but tenacity is really strong against slugging as you can recover AND (quickly) crawl to an area where it's worth getting up as you typically get slugged in dead zones. It helps you get to a place where you can't immediately get slugged again.
Personally (but that's just me) I think it's actually kind of fun to get slugged with tenacity because that perk makes crawling feel sort of fast even though you still move at a lousy 26.25% which is 1.05m/s. I wish the devs would buff tenacity at some point.

id like tenacity buffs too and i find it fun as well but its just not really worth it since even when i use it they find me very easily

except ... no mithers get hooked straight away in my experience

Another thing is the fact that even if no mithers do NOT get hooked straight away they'll sometimes still get picked up just before recovering completely. I posted this one before but still a good example:
I downed the no mither guy at 0:25 and managed to take down 2 others before he was able to recover. I picked him up at about 0:55. He must have been at like 99% but still wasn't able to get up in time even though I wanted him to have a chance of using it.
Long story short: Recovering takes way too long and running no mither WITH unbreakable for the extra recovery speed is a waste since most killers will immediately pick up a survivor turning most games into "ultra difficult mode" as you effectively play with 2 perks if the killer doesn't slug while being 1 shot all the time.

Yeah, waste time not trying to get into another match and have a chance at a good game.

There's no way this has happened multiple times as described. This would be equally boring for the killer and rob him of both easy bloodpoints and an easy victory.

Recovering is a healing action, which means it takes 16 seconds to heal one health state. However, dying survivors do this at 50% the normal healing speed, so it takes 32 seconds to recover from 0% to 100%.
According to your video, the slugged survivor recovered for 30 seconds since he was downed at 0:25, and picked up at 0:55. He was at 93.75%, 2 more seconds and he would've gotten back up from the dying state.
I don't know why I have to explain this to you, wait, I know: It's because I love doing mathematics on the forums! 😎
