Desicive Strike Nerf Idea
The current proposed (subject to change as well) nerf for Decisive Strike, is to allow everyone to use it immediately, with risk of failure, while getting a no heal status. I believe this is an inappropriate change, and doesn’t help the core problem.
My idea for nerfing decisive strike is simple; buff it to 5 seconds without drawback.....wait for it....but only obsession can use it.
Making only one D-Strike possible a game, as well as making it a risky perk to run. Making a chance for several games not having that perk present.

Not going to help that much against cancer swf groups that will plan ahead. The only people that will lose out are solo survivors.0

Solo people will almost never run it, SWF can only run it once. And with my proposed changes in the thread “sad state of survivor” it would be fine. Especially with pre game chat existing

Would be a decent idea.
Getting DS'ed once a round isn't THAT grevious as killer.
Tho it would need a benefit for non-obsessions, eventually. Maybe not as strong as the one they currently have tho, for sure. You could imagine something like :
Once per round, you can stab the killer while he carries someone, stunning him for 3s, not allowing him to move. The survivor would remain on its shoulder tho.Maybe not exactly this, but something interactive like this would be decent.

The problem is that its a crutch for bad survivors and a time waster for good ones. It will certainly make it better than the live version, where it could happen 4 times, but its still a no risk thing for survivors to run if they plan a bit.
Also whats super annoying about it for killers is that there is no counter to it even if you know its going to happen. You just have to take it while being helpless to stop it. Ot makes no sense in a game where the killer is supposed to be strong and survivors weak for killer to be at the survivors mercy, no matter how good the killer is, it will always end with you having to take the stun.0 -
I have an idea too... make DS slightly easier to hit and after you've successfully escaped the killer's grasp make it so you get either a Hindered status (slows you down), Mangled status (takes longer to heal), or put you in a state where you can't heal yourself back to full for about 2 minutes (instead of the whole game).
