I mean you did SWF with someone at the lower ranks. Since your killer was lower than you it had to balance out with new people. This is why ranks should be weighted when it comes to match making. The killer should have been no lower than R10. @Peanits your thoughts on weighting or changing the rank value in matchmaking?

They are working on it. Soon it will take the average of an SWF so to take your lobby it will look for a killer around rank 9.
Personally I would prefer it to look for a killer using the highest ranked person in an SWF.

Yes, as I stated weighted not average. A R1 survivor has much more experience over a R9. Similar to an R9 killer having more experience than a R20 survivor. This type of match making should be a last-ditch effort.

@twistedmonkey I wish they took the killer based on highest ranking survivor, my friend is good survivor and he can hold his own even at r1, but he doesnt have enough time to play so he doesnt rank up.

While in theory yes they should be but in reality it's not true.
Derankers are abundant and what rank you sit in each month is dependant on where you choose to be or just long you have played within that rank month.
Many players sit around green ranks for what they call fun games and the current pip system makes it easier to play in tgem. Gain BP's and not rank up if one so wishes.

Absolutely not! It should go off the lowest rank survivor. 3 man swf 2 red ranks and a green should play red rank killer NOT green. You wonder why swf's get dodged. The average rank of the group is much more fair. Even though I think it should match with lowest rank survivor. But matching to the highest will be abused to the highest.

That is what I said.
The highest ranked person in my comment would be the one in red ranks for example.
Reaching the lower ranks (red) means you are the highest ranked player in an SWF.

And what is the point of this? All you are doing is bullying new players who will likely just say "You know what I didn't even like this game that much" when you go ahead and do that to them
You achieve nothing but being a prick. I understand you are queueing with a new player yourself but you don't need to go full strike force when you know you are going against rank 20s

I think you have problem reading if you somehow came into that conclusion that I enjoy these games.
Neither me or my friend (who is experienced but doesnt have enough time to rank up) enjoy playing vs baby killers, but matchmaking sucks.

So what you’re saying is that the OPs build doesn’t matter, they’re allowed to use whatever perks they want and it isn’t even a guarantee that they’ll be paired with low rank killers...
