Make Survivors Unique!

As of now Survivors are just reskins of a blank model.

What would you do to make them more unique?

I think that Survivors should finally get a REAL voice and not just a gasp or scream from falling. I wanna hear them talk like Ash!

If we wanna make survivors unique, they need to have small bonus that doesn't drive players to switch mains.

    Meg:

Exhaustion debuff from killer add-ons and perks are 10% less effective.

    Claudette:

Mangled debuffs from killer add-ons and perks are 10% less effective.

    Jake:

When you're unhooked, there's a 10% chance the hook is automatically sabotaged.

You can solve the problem of the most powerful surv by, obviously, ironing it out (you just don't make them unique without touching the rest), but also making unique survivors selection in lobby: no more clones!

Anyway there will always be the preferred current meta surv but ... hey, it happens in every game, so what's the problem. I prefer this compared to play 1 single survivor with many name\skins over and over.

Just add a passive bonus to each survivor.

I wouldn’t mind small changes, but I don’t want anything that changes their gameplay.

Should make passives a general bonus that you choose to apply to a survivor, but can only apply once or something

No. Skins are fine, this game is a joke to balance as it is.

No. I already very dislike ash talking. I wish I could shut his ######### mouth, very annoying.

Exactly like killers? But there, this is absolutely not a problem?

Just balance. But since the devs do not want to give themselves the trouble with the killers, they do not want to get bored with the survivors.

Otherwise, it would be nice if the survivor's unique perks have priority in bloodweb. (same for killers)

The more survivors you have, the harder it is to get the survivor's unique Tier 3 perks.

If they could at least fix the voice volume depended on their size, like big guy as Jeff will makes less noise, small survivor like Clau & Fend will make more noise. It could make a bit different between easy to be seen & easy to be tracked.

List of sounds can be: breathing; moaning; footstep; fast vaulting; landing ect. The volume can be dropped up to 30% compared to other survivors, so no noise perk like Iron will & Quick Quiet not be over lapped.

Just that alone sound volume based on their size can make the different between survivors.

On one hand it would be cool but on the other I kind of like how they’re pretty much just skins because then there’s no blatant “meta” slavery going on. Overwatch is infested with this mentality and as someone whose favorites were on the bottom, it’s not fun and you cannot rely on the community to value diversity in play styles.

I would give them all one of their perks as a passive and remove those perks from being a teachable/being a perk. Meg- Sprint Burst, Nea - Balanced Landing, Claudette - Botany Knowledge, David - Dead Hard, etc. It'd open up a whole lot of variety in perk builds because a lot of exhaustion perks would no longer be perks, DS also wouldn't, which would also allow the whole "multiple crutch perk" argument to go away, and other perks would be indirectly buffed because of it.

I'd rather keep survivors just skins and have variety rather than see only Claudettes with 10% increased healing speed or Megs that recover from exhaustion 10% faster.

i dont even know if they can talk or not, ash and plague can speak, does the rest of the survivors choose not to speak on purpose?

But... it's Bruce Campbell, the grooviest man on earth and he is known for being the man who brought Ash to life.

Chill out you p3 Claudette main.

I am simply blown away that you find Ash annoying.

Take these quotes with a grain of salt:

    "What now?"

"Look who's shitting in the tall grass"

    "That's right, that's me baby"

    "Awww, what now?"

    "Alright"

    "Groovy"

    "Huh, what is this place?"

And the last one, just for you ;)

    "Kiss my grits"

Yeah, maybe would fit in fortnite, no clue why he has to talk in dbd. Doesn't fit. And is annoying.

It fits because they are quotes that Ash says from the movies and the TV show 'Ash vs Evil Dead', I suggest you watch them first before complaining that they don't fit when both Dead by Daylight and Evil Dead are horror.

Jesus mate, calm the hell down. It's as if I've murdered someone with you.

Who cares if it doesn't fit to Dead by Daylight, it fits to Ash, you can't have Ashley Joanna Williams without his goddamn quotes!!!

U have issues to read or what?

Sure bud, good to know I should better ignore you in future discussions. See ya.

I do not have issues to read thanks, it's just you're the one having a temper tantrum because ONE character speaks.

I bet you wouldn't mind if every single character spoke, I told you to calm down because you were starting to act aggressive and weren't asking me a simple question.

Before engaging in a discussion, learn to control your freaking emotions and stop having temper tantrums because you think "OH, Ash speaks and it doesn't fit in to DBD even though Ash is known for speaking!!"
