Hes weak because he has to go through extra steps injure and reinjure survivors. These extra steps are supposed to help him; slower action speed, aura reading, but as long as the dream state is manditory to hit and hook survivors, Freddy will never be good.
I think they should keep him the same , but allow freddy to hut them while awake. Freddy should also get 10% action speed and 2% movement speed for each survivor who is asleep1 -

Are you out of your mind?! If you’re a console nurse (or it might be just a name) then she is the most OP killer in the game! (for those who know how to use her) Freddy sucks ass as a killer against a team who know how he works (this from a mostly Freddy main) They continue to do gens, totems, unhook and heal IN HIS FACE and all he can do is twiddle his finger knives. Every single other killer can punish survivors for these acts (Freddy has to wait 7 seconds!) Without addons - Freddy is the worst killer in the game and these buffs cannot come soon enough for this horror legend. I’m surprised the owners of the property aren’t sueing BeH for treating their property so bad up until now. Freddy is one of the weaker killers. You are able to hook rush him easily...
He needs buffed and will get his buff soon.
