Why don't many solo survivors run bond?

As a rank 1 survivor, I feel like bond is a must have if you're solo. Knowing what my teammates are doing allows me to play so much more optimally. Yet, I rarely see bond on my teammates. The most common build I see is exhaustion perk, decisive strike, adrenaline, and self care or borrowed time. Exhaustion perk and borrowed time are excellent choices. Decisive is fine. Self care is bad unless you're in endgame. Adrenaline is overrated in my opinion. Great perk for rushing gens/exit gates, but when you're solo you can't expect that your team will even finish the gens.

I feel like most survivors can easily find a spot for bond in their build. I'll admit I am good at chases, so I don't feel like I need second chance perks like ds or adrenaline, but I still think bond is too good not to run for solos.

Idk, but i personally think that both kindred and bond are a must as a solo survivor. Kindred is more important than bond if they wanna run a different build.

I run Bond, Object, Kindred, and Balanced Landing.

I want to know what is going on at all times and let my team coordinate when i get hooked.

    Time is gold in dbd.

Bond is a double edged sword. On one end, it saves you time by showing you if your teammate is going for an unhook/running in your direction with the killer in tow/working on a generator that you could help finish... On the other end, it ALSO shows your teammates that are making permanent homes in bushes. Sometimes, ignorance is bliss and I want to believe that the killer is just REALLY good at keeping my team busy. Either way though, Ive been using it alot.

I use Bond a lot as a solo survivor. I think most people just copy their favourite streamers' builds, and most of those streamers are in a SWF group.

Self care isn't bad if you like chases. I love being chased and that's why I have selfcare just to heal and attract the killer's attention again.

I love Bond. It shows me when someone is being chased close by so I can evade the killer or take a hit, find others to heal, do gens with and also avoid bringing the killer near others to give them time.

I also love Iron Will as my playstyle is to lose the killer and try sneaky jukes. It's amazing how often hiding at a corner you just ran past works when the killer expects everyone to just run to the next pallet.

Bond is a pretty good perk that provides lots of information but personally I got sick of using it because I'd often see teammates randomly crawling around doing nothing while I was getting chased or afk teammates so whenever I play survivor I rather use perks that help me in a chase now.

Probably because in low/mid ranks theyve had so many randoms use it to sandbag them, they have a bad impression of its uses.

Bond is awesome. I would never be without it.
