Your Top 3 Anime OPs and EDs.
So as the title suggests, and providing there are any fellow weebs among us, I want to know, what are your top three openings and endings from anime, wether it be because of the animation, the music or both, I'd love to hear what you prefer; perhaps I may even investigate myself and find a new anime that I'll love. And just to be a good sport, I'll kick off with my top 3.
Openings:
- Rightfully ~ Goblin Slayer: I love this opening because to me both the animation and music are on point, and are really fitting of the anime; with really smooth animations and riviting volume in the chorus.
- Kuusou Mesorogiwi ~ Future Diary: Again, just like Goblin Slayer, both the music and animation is amazing, I mean, it remains the only opening that gave me anxiety, but not in a bad way, in a way that just made me love it more, kinda hard to explain.
- High School Of The Dead: "I swear it's not because of fan service" but for real, all jokes aside theres just something special about this opening I love, in particular, there is a very short sequence where the camera pans around a poer pylon, and for some reason I just love the way it looks, acompanied by the drop in the great music
Endings:
- Blood Teller ~ Future Diary: honestly, not much for me to say about the ending, it has all the same qualitys to me as the opening in that it is just amazing to me.
- Dare Ka, Umi Wo ~ Terror In Resonance: not much for animation, yet still beautiful it is easily one of the best songs I've heard through anime, and a very fitting song for the tone of the anime as a whole.
- Toki Tsukasadoru Juuni no Meiyaku ~ Steins Gate: That's a mouthful, akin to ToR, not much for animation, but the song itself, along with the events of the anime just make this ending incredible and honestly may have brought me to the brink of tears a few times.
So there you have it, my personal top 3 openings and endings: now, please I'd love to hear your guys too.
And because whynot, here are some honourable mentions:
- Again ~ Full Metal Achemist Brotherhood.
- Cruel Angels Thesis ~ Neon Genesis Evangelion
- The Day ~ My Hero Academia
- Kono Yubi Tomare ~ Kakegurui
- Judgement ~ Devilman Crybaby, I probably would've put this one first however it's not exclusively an outro song so I dont feel it counts. Regardless still a very powerful tine, and really drove home some of the most emotional parts of the anime.
Edit: I left links to each one in the spoilers box, dont worry they are there, just incredibly hard to see due to white on white.

The only anime i remember i actually liked is Blood+, damn, it was good, the intro of the first season gives me some great nostalgic chills.

- Bloody Stream (JoJo's Bizarre Adventure)
… yeah I don't watch that much Anime. I only seen JoJo (going to read manga, am on last episode of Golden Wind, then If I can I'll read the manga) and Death Note. I'm a normie when it comes to anime, I'll fully admit that.
Endings:
- Roundabout (JoJo's Bizarre Adventure)
- … Roundabout again (JoJo: Battle Tendency part of the season)
- Last Train Home (I think the song was) (JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Stardust Crusaders)

I want to preface my comment by saying this is a hard list to make. Mostly, because I have difficulty choosing what my favorites are. But I will do my best!
Openings:
- Hunter X Hunter (2011) - 5th Opening
- Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood - 1st Opening
- Attack on Titan - 1st Opening
- (BONUS) - Vinland Saga - 1st Opening
I can say with high confidence that the fifth opening of HxH is probably the best anime opening I know. The visuals are sublime, and I don't ever recall being so hyped watching an anime opening. The last two are very good visually as well and the music is awesome. I added in Vinland Saga because I am such a HUGE fan of the manga series. The show is still new, so I haven't had time to fully decide how much I like the opening (so far, I enjoy it very much).
Endings:
- Samurai Champloo - Shiki No Uta
- Hunter X Hunter (2011) - 3rd Ending
- JoJo's Bizarre Adventure - Roundabout
I'll just be upfront in saying this list isn't as good. Ending themes tend to not leave as much of an impression on me. That said, here are three endings that were either really good songs or were able to stir up emotion.

@TheGameZpro3 I cant fault you for watching Jojo, it is indeed a great anime.
@Raptorrotas I have to say, had I made this thread last year I would have had to agree on FMA:B's opening, and I prolly would've made it my number 1, however this year for me has been great for anime. Infact, I think I'll edit the op to have some honourable mentions.
@Acromio Cruel Angels Thesis was so close to making the list, it's absolutly fantastic; but it just didnt mke it, however, if this was a lost on the top 3 soundtracks then Evangelion would easily be on that list.
@Mister_Holdout ldout I have to agree that picking favorites isn't entirely my thing, however I find that when it comes to intros and outros some just go above and beyond.
