Why most of the time people take forever to ready up?

Doesn't matter if I play killer or survivor I am always ready immediately after I make sure the ping is fine.

Games take forever to find and people still wait until the time is out or take their sweet time. You can check bloodweb and your loadout before getting into the lobby you know. Or do whatever needs to be done.

Alt tabbed to youtube for example. Lobby Qs are so long, it would be a waste of time to wait there doing nothing just to ready up asap and start the match 50 seconds earlier.

Same and to the OP; If you waited for the lobby to show up finally, you should really be able to withstand another minute> I'm on console also, many of us go downstairs to get something and are back when the match started or we are looking at our laptops next to us and don't care. Just remember this and learn this; I dislike this a lot but, what you think, doesn't revolve around the other players, or impatience.

It's the sad truth, but I fully and throughly understand your side.

I know what you mean. I always make sure my load out is ready to go before I join a lobby. I feel like a lot of people do it just to annoy everyone else.

They are probably watching a video in the background and forgot to ready up, got called by someone if they can help their parents, loved ones, brothers, sisters etc., purposely doing it, searching for a snack etc.

last time i didnt ready up i was on the toilet and the lobby was found and the the offering screen appeared by the time i had returned.

i faced a tryhard SWF group that round who gave me nothing but salt and "EEZ" in the chat after the game (even though i have played very nice, not been rude to them or anything).

    i learned from that.

i will never lobby queue again when im not sitting in front of my screen xD

It's not uncommon I just leave to get something to drink and people join and the countdown begins, and I often just stay tabbed out and tab back in when I hear the match starting too. I don't care who I face or get matched together with, but I'm not gonna sit there staring at the "Looking for lobby" screen.

If I AM there I'll hit ready though, but not always the case 😄

I dont understand why people join queues then go afk for whatever. It's not hard to unready, do your thing, and come back. The 2 mins you took to do that arent going to kill you.

On the other hand, when you ready up, and take 2 or 3 mins to do something, you have everyone wait in lobby, then have you afk for ######### knows how long.

It happens on here and rocket league a lot, and I dont understand the thought process of doing it.

YouTube? You have a phone, or some people a second monitor. Bathroom/drink? Unready. Itl be here when you get back. Irl issue? Turn off system.

"I alt tabbed to do X while I wait." Unless you tab back and check every 45 seconds, you're going to run the risk of being in game, and screwing everyone while you're alt tabbed.

On console, theres almost NO reason to do this.

Hitting "find game" and going away from it is selfish.

"But but but the queue times are 15 minutes!" Then do your ######### before you queue.

"I wanna watch YT while I wait for those 15 mins" Then check back every 45 seconds, or use a phone.

"But i alt tab because I'm on pc and have one monitor and no phone so I HAVE to alt tab YT" Then check. Back. Every. 45. Seconds.

It's unfair to the people waiting for a full game.

Also, if you HAVE to have something to do while waiting to play the game, maybe try the other role to save time. Maybe get a fidget cube or spinner. Pick up a book. Rubik's cube. Chess with yourself. TV anywhere else in the room. ######### there are a thousand things to do while waiting, but the pc gaming culture seems to have this NEED to intake information from the internet 24/7.

######### that was supposed to be 3 lines about dont go afk, its rude.
