Will the devs ever add the ability to transfer data from console to pc?

I've seen this been asked alot from the community especially in the recent AMAand they responded with "it's not in their plans atm" or whatever but considering a vast majority if the community would like this implemented into the game, you would think they would want to satisfy their player base. I know that this would take probably a while to add to their game but as many people are beginning to buy a pc and leave console they would get a lot of sales from it, and therefore a win from both sides... idk it just seems logical that they would add this with the upcoming of the new amazing dedicated servers
