Weird and eerie dreams
When I was around 5-7 years old I had a dream in which I was underwater in a ocean and every time I tried to swim towards the top it would further away, I just could simply never reach it. I then simply decided to just swim around in the vastness of the ocean when all of a suden I see dark figures in the distance so I decide to swim closer. As I got closer it was darkend, shadowed out people all in a line holding hands, in a line facing me. I was kind of awe struck to see this but as soon as I began to move again the figure in the center pointed at something. I thought it was me at first but then a gigantic shadow loomed over me and as soon as that happend I woke up. That dream has stuck with me to this day, so what weird or eerie dream has stuck with you?

I've had a number of eerie dreams, but unfortunately I can't remember them very well off the top of my head.
Occasionally, i'll remember in better detail what the dream was about, but it doesn't take long for me to forget again.
But what I do remember is this: some of them were very wild.
I recall one of them having to do with some outer space type ######### and my view of the changing cosmos.
Also, I think in one of my dreams I was having sex or something and all of a sudden a laser grid type thing appeared over me. The room I was in greatly expanded, and I found myself floating around trying not to touch the laser grid. I think there was a deep sea mine field mixed in there as well. And as I was floating through this perilous trap, I some how ended up in space. Was I trying to reach a space ship? That's about all I remember.
I've had a bunch of other crazy ones as well. P.S. Not all of them are about space. Those are just two that come to mind. I might comment later if I can think of some different ones I had. Maybe I should write these dreams down and create some stories lol.

When I was about 10-ish, I had a dream where I was in my school, which was in this weird globe-thing, and there was a zombie outbreak or something along those lines. It's been so long that I don't remember the details. I just remember being scared to death for about a week.
On the weird side, I don't remember when it was, but I had a dream where a very important computer program was murdered. Not hacked. Murdered. I remember nothing else. Just that one very specific detail.

It seems like almost all weird or eerie dreams involve one of three things, space, the ocean(or any body of water) or some abstract piece of land.

Another incredibly weird and twisted dream I had was when I was about 13-15, I was in my room playing a game when all of a sudden two random girls walk in and start mocking me, the way I play, my parents, basically everything. I eventually got tired of it and I threw my controller pinned one of the girls down and began to eat her, the worst part about that dream was how down to earth it was.

@Cornpopers I think I've had some crazy dreams that didn't involve those things.

If you think of any definitely post them after all, that's what the topic is all about. ;)

I actually used to have an epic dream every year, it appeared to me once per year on a random night. But basically it was an epic crossover of everything I was into at the time, characters from all different movies and games appeared to fight one main villain and his army of darkness, I don't remember who that villain was but I know that he appeared in my other dreams and did some messed up #########, he was pretty scary, chasing me through long endless hallways, appearing to me at an abandoned school, looking back at it now, he was pretty dope. But man was I terrified of him as a kid, yet every year for some reason, not even kidding, I always had that dream where lots of my favorite characters fought back against him, man it was dope. I haven't had a dream like that in a while, I don't even really remember my dreams nowadays too, but that dream is the one I will almost always remember

Yeah, as a adult I barley have any dreams like that anymore and if I do then I can't remember them. One I can remember recently though was basically a giant spider invasion. I was locked and boarded up with my friends and family as we tried to defend our home against spiders of all varying sizes. That was a pretty wild dream, basically living out a eight legged freaks disaster.

I've had a number of bizarre dreams.
I remember one in particular I had as a kid was incredibly graphic. The sky was all red, the way it sometimes gets just before dawn, and I was being chased through my neighborhood past dozens of butchered bodies; most of whom were people I knew. Without wanting to get into any detail it was just really gruesome and horrifying for me: so much so I was nauseous and I threw up when I woke up.
I got over it really quickly, but the mental imagery of so many people I knew and cared about horribly mangled really shook me up for a while.
This was way back when I was like 7 or 8 too, before I got into horror movies, so heck if I know why I dreamed it.

I had a dream about 4 years back, a zombie virus had broken out. I remember I had been bitten by one of my friends who hadn't told me he had been infected.
I forgot a few events in between, but I remember my little brother and I escaped into an old storage shed to evade the zombies that had been chasing us. (These were the sprinting kind). My little brother was crying in my arms because he was scared (at that time, he would have been 4 years old.) I looked up to see an air vent he could crawl through to get out. I put him on my shoulders and hoisted him up there and told him goodbye. Then I fell to the floor and my vision started to get blurry.
That's all I remember lol.

That sounds like something straight out of the walking dead.

"Sleep...those little slices of death... How I loathe them. " (Edgar Allen Poe)
Some say when we dream our souls leave our bodies to roam freely in other dimensions...hmmm. š¤

The term for that is "Astral projection", if I'm not mistaken.

I think I had watched a zombie marathon that night just before bed. (Dawn of the Dead '78 and '04 and 28 Days Later)

Dawn of the Dead is a very rare case in which both films are actually great.
1 -
Agreed! However, Day of the Dead wasn't so lucky. The remake (and the remakes sequel) are just awful.
1 -
Yup, people say Day is the most boring but I personally love it, it's a shame that the Day of the Dead name became well known for those films.

I loved Day too! It was so satisfying to see Rhodes get what he deserved!

Rhodes is one of my top villains that I love to hate, the actor played the role of a bastard beautifully.

Recently (15 btw) I have had alot of "Falling" dreams, and each time before I land it changes

Falling dreams sometimes correlate with being unhappy in life or possibly illness.

That....is something I did not know....

I hope if this is the case for you, you talk it out with someone asap.
