Two survivors for the next chapter?
Hi, I'm sorry for making another chapter discussion post but this has been bugging me. I recently had seen a post on the DBD reddit discussing how the next chapter could possibly have a double up on survivors. Would anybody want this though? I personally wouldn't simply because killers are what really shake up the gameplay while survivors are simply really nice skins that come with personalized perks that yes, do change gameplay a bit but not to drastic, usually. So I kick this to you guys, would you be happy with this or no, you'd like just a normal chapter, just remember though, it's just speculation for now.

It would be a serious cop-out since survivors are essentially just a reskin. The devs creativity lies in the killers.

I think cop-out is a bit harsh but I get were you're coming from. Survivors do after all come with perks but I don't think it would be enough.

I agree here the only way they could add two survs in one chapter is if they focus on a team build and make perks that work good when paired with perks on another which would only strengthen SWF, so yea.... I don't see two survs happening

Yeah, that's actually a pretty cool and interesting idea but as you stated, it would just buff swf unless you make the numbers very small, then it would be almost worthless to run.

There's speculation that Jonathan and Nancy from Stranger Things will be both coming with the Stranger Things chapter. Nothing concrete but who knows?

Honestly instead of 2 survivors I would rather they start adding the occasional generic perks here and there. I really liked leveling my main survivor, but in reality I dont need too till a new survivor drops.

I would love more general perks in the perk pool for both survivor and killer, I wounder whatever happened to their selfesh care perk?

So if there were 2 survivors in 1 chapter I think 6 total teachables would be a lot to add to the game. Now I know all 3 perks for each survivor are not got-tier, but with 6 new ones I think there could be some new per builds that open up which is always fun. Either way I’m still excited to see what comes from the new chapter.

No! There are more survivors than killers anyway, I wouldn't buy it just for 6 perks, even if you are a survivor main or killer, a chapter with no killer is simply a waste of a Chapter slot. I'd rather prefer a chapter with only a Killer and no survivor, like the last one with Ghostface, rather than 2 skins that won't change the gameplay at all.

We should also keep in mind their are 17 survivors and 16 killers so I don't know why they'd want to unbalance those numbers further unless they plan on doing something special for chapter 14.

I'd say they'd either have to do two survivors AND a killer or make the survivors some Ash level quality, licenced and with original voice actors and looks.

I was just thinking maybe they could do the whole 2 survivors plus a killer but if the next chapter is stranger things as speculated then there's zero way that the price won't climb up, I'd have to say to around 10-12 dollars.

Dude if they added peter dinklage to the game in any form i'd both be so happy and so sad.
he's so small so it would possibly be hard to see him as killer unless they scaled him up a little bit, or made his clothes a bit brighter.
but at the same time peter dinklage is a god in most films and media he's in, so just being able to play as the man in some form would be cool, hell even just being able to play as a dwarfed charecter would add some nice representation in the game.
doubt they'll add him though, and i have no idea where the idea from this came from but im super game if they do.

I feel like having a survivor and a killer would be good on both sides. Killer and a survivor mains can both try something new. I agree that new killers add more of a spice but I feel that 1 new killer and 1 new survivor will add new experience to both.

Quite frankly, there should never be a chapter without a killer. Survivors are really just skins with a couple new perks. New killers (and maps, to a lesser degree) are what really shake up the game every three months

You know this could be possible. @Peanits had said in another thread that there is a new map but he could not confirm or deny anything else. That suggests to me there is a chance we might not get a survivor or killer in the next chapter, but it could also suggest a double up on survivor (or even killer). Very vague, it could mean nothing, but now that you say we could get 2 survivors it got me thinking.

I swear I heard somewhere that chapter 13 was going to have a new survivor plus killer and a map. As I suggested above though they could do what they did with Legion too a survivor because they're just skins.
