Is body blocking an exploit?

I just had a match in which I saved a survivor from a hook while an exit gate was opened. The killer came and tried to hit him but, being healthy and the good teammate I am, I stood in front of the killer so that he had a harder time getting through to the survivor. The survivor and I escaped and in the end game chat, the killer yelled at me for body blocking and said that he'd reported me.

Now, I always thought that there was nothing wrong with doing it. I didn't mean to be rude, I just wanted to help my teammate. Also, if survivors and killers aren't supposed to influence each other's movement, why would collision be in the game in the first place? Any Hillbilly, Bubba or even Huntress player know that it can benefit both sides. It wouldn't even make any sense for a killer to just walk through an Ash or a Dwight.

So, do you guys think that it's an exploit? Is it BM? Is it bannable? I'm looking forward to reading about your opinion.

You did the right thing and no it's not bannable. The killer was just mad because they lost. Btw this is not an opinion but a fact.

The only type of body blocking thats considered reportable, is when you just trap someone in a corner and sit there doing nothing.
