I can't say anything just yet, but when the Darkness Among Us trailer dropped, The Legion were listed as a single killer in the end slate. This one lists the survivors separately.

While I am starting to really really like lerys after almost a year, im thinking new map is going to be very similar to that one. Except maybe with portals that switch you to the upside down world?
Or will that be the power? Sort of like old freddy but maybe instantaneous? With portals out? Just vomiting ideas here.

Glad people who wanted it got it, but it's a shame that people asking for something that doesnt fit, works. Jeepers creepers next. And jason. And hell now that theyve broken all their own rules theres ZERO reason we cant have xenomorph. Since, ya know, their own rules dont matter anymore.

Its tied to the killer. It may look different but the concept is gonna be the same. Transition survivors to another realm, where you're slightly more powerful. That's rehashed.

The Demogorgon can open doors to the upside down, it doesn't bring the upside down outside
In season 2 the town of Hawkins was getting corrupted by the upside down, through the portal, not the monster

I'm not debating how the show works.
It cannot affect a map, and not be part of the killer. It is literally coming from the killers lore.
If it was on the map, then LF could use it.
It has to be tied to the power. Otherwise its just a new game mechanic, and has nothing to do with nor gives us the need for the demogorgon.

1) It is humanoid. I don't know what to tell you other than to learn the definition of the word.
2) Stranger Things is a horror tv show. Sure it has the subcategories of Sci-Fi/Mystery, but it's unquestionably a horror show.
3) That's not a "shallow" excuse. They simply are adults. It doesn't break their rules. If anything Nancy and Steve are more valid survivor options than Laurie and Quinten because of age.

Making the Clown a killer was going back on their word. NONE of this is.

Humanoid does not mean human. Humanoid just refers the standing upright with the same arrangement of limbs. If something's not humanoid, it would require redoing every animation just for that one killer.
As for the rest, I would say just watch the show. I don't want to spoil anything, but the demogorgon is still around.

And that's where I'm done with you. Raptors are humanoid if you believe that. Bears are humanoid too then.
Walking on hind legs does not make it humanoid. Period. Perhaps you should touch up on your vocabulary instead of trying to insult others to defend your wrong points.
2. It is not horror. It is not scary. It is a scifi show, tad of comedy ffs. It has horror elements and nods, but it is not horror. It's a teen show that uses horror as a tag to get more viewers. Hemlock grove wouldnt be horror, and it's far darker that ST.
3. It IS a shallow excuse. Is the demogorgon STILL the threat in s3? You conveniently didnt answer. Because if not, they took the killer from earlier seasons, and survivors from later seasons to fit their own rules because otherwise it wouldnt work. They literally had to hobble the content together to make it work. They're only adults NOW.

It has nothing to do with the power, the Demogorgon could easily kill survivors outside of the upside down
I thought you were basing the power on the trailer, since there were upside down tendrils shown when he Demogorgon was revealed
What I'm saying is that it won't bring survivors to the upside down but will likely use the portals just to travel around the map, maybe survivors could use those as well
What I think it's going to be is that it will create a portal, enter the upside down, won't see survivors, go somewhere and open another portal

Going into a portal, not seeing survivors, and then coming out sounds a lot like spirit walk..
This is my issue. All ideas of its power I've heard are already in game, with different skins.

In the show it can travel between two dimensions, ours and the Upside Down, by opening portals
In the first episode it's shown to have some psychic abilities but aren't shown further
It can smell blood from far away even between dimension
Super strong and other basic monster abilities

Only difference is that maybe survivors could get into the Upside Down as well and hopefully doesn't have a cooldown
I just hope for an interesting power that isn't so similar to other killers
(Also I don't think it's actually going to be like this, the Upside Down would need all maps to have significant work put into them)

1) Saying it's bipedal doesn't make it suddenly not humanoid, that is one aspect that makes something humanoid. I wasn't insulting you, you don't know the definition of the term humanoid and I didn't know what to tell you other then to look it up and try and understand it better. You can either educate yourself, or be stubborn and keep using a term incorrectly. I'm not normally one to be a stickler for definitions in an internet discussion but when that word is the basis of your argument I'm going to correct you.
2) It is horror. Horror is a diverse genre, and it not scaring YOU doesn't mean it doesn't use thematic elements to scare people and fall into the category. You're just being stubborn again. A monster from an alternate dimension shows up and hunts people after pulling them into this alternate world that is dark and isolating. I'm curious if you consider Alien, Pans Labyrinth, or Silence of the Lambs horror. Maybe you're more picky and exclusive with your definition.
3) You argument of them grabbing survivors from a later season and killer from an earlier season is invalid because how the entity works. It pulls people and killers from different times. I didn't "conveniently" not answer, I didn't think it was relevant. What about your ignoring Laurie and Quinten both being children?
You don't see a demogorgon in season 3 so I can't answer if it still holds a threat, but I'd say yes since it is a monster that eats people. It doesn't feel like they hobbled it together from my perspective.

Laurie was a senior in high school. It could be said shes 18. Quentin doesnt exist because hes not Freddie's real survivor. However hes also in high school and could be assumed 18. I didnt watch that pos remake.
It's not horror. Not because it doesnt scare me, It's because it's not horror at its core. Period. It's like saying the goonies is horror.
