Look what they did to my boy Quentin, I really wish they'd fix his design to the edit posted on the right. I also hope they don't mess up the likeness of Nancy and Jonathan from Stranger Things like they did Quen.

Which is what makes these recent liscensed DLCs, starting with Ash, quite a bit different, in that they actually have the actors fully signed on aswell.

Started with Tapp actually, Tapp looks very similar to Danny Glover

As was stated a few times in this thread, they literally cant. They dont have the rights to the actor.

Honestly I wouldn’t mind if they did a little revamp on all the older survivors. Some just don’t look quite right.

It's like you didn't read what I said. I said I'd like it to happen, but it probably won't. I know that they don't have the rights. Why else would they make him like that to begin with? I'd just like for his face to look a little bit better though... Doesn't even have to look like the actor, but just better than what's in the game right now.

They don't have the rights because they never asked. AFAIK Kyle Gallner, the actor who played Quentin, found out Quentin was in DbD the same time as everyone else and was disappointed nobody tried to contact him about reprising the character.
That said; BHVR can't change Quentin now because I'd imagine they'd need to renegotiate with the NOES license holders in order to modify a licensed character.
There's also no real motivation for them to spend money redesigning a character that only a few people play; especially since they can't make any money from a redesign.
They'd be losing money, probably a lot, to make the 50 of us Quentin Mains happy. It's just not a smart idea from a business perspective.

Stranger things is still active/being produced while the Nightmare on Elm Street remake was made back in 2010.. That would explain why there is no likeness for that actor

The in-game model makes him look like a over 30-year-old drug addict.
I mean, it makes sense he looks tired because of the lore and I do love the concept of it. But he has more wrinkles than my grandma.

yeah i know, it just cracks me up seeing her with a huge ass forehead, plus the reason why dbd laurie isn't the same as halloween laurie is because they can't get the likeness of jamie lee curtis without paying her huge money, same goes for her voice,

oh you mean the donation, sure that could work and i really hope the devs look into remodeling them, as a laurie main i would be forever grateful if they are actually able to remodel the old licensed survivors properly

I've sank so much into cosmetics and as the audience for DbD is getting wider, seeing as how their Stranger Things trailer and Ghostface trailer was so successful. I'm sure they'd at least have enough to revamp some of the characters, unless they're still paying off royalties.
