Yes, calm spirit counters all screams.

Infectious Fright, Iron Maiden, The Clown's Gas, The Doctor's Shock Therapy, basic attacks, and, if the leaks are true, an upcoming Demogorgon perk.
The slight scream when you fall down from a large height, sadly, have no perk that removes it.

@Milo it also stopps the animation of screaming on the hook completely so you'll lose a few seconds in the struggle phase ;)

Yep this is why I run it with a flashlight so that way they think it's a safe pick-up when no notification happens
