Inner Strength
Love love LOVE this perk. It actually forces survivors to have to do totems now. Killers can run Haunted Ground too, so both sides win. What do you guys think? I believe that’s the only good perk for the survivor side in this new chapter

I love all the new perks, the Survivor ones are very positive and good for new players. We have anti camping, anti tunnel, two different healing perks, delicious.
I'll be running Inner Strength or Second Wind because I don't like relying on others but also know that healing wastes time and these perks solve that problem.
WGLF, BT, either 2nd Wind or IS, and Dead Hard will probably be my newest fav build.
Fixated, Sprint Burst, Diversion, and Iron Will might be a good sneak build we'll be seeing. Walk everywhere and then when chased sprint away and then break off the chase and throw a pebble to make him think you went in a direction, if you're injured they can't hear you.

I really like the idea of Inner Strength, but consider this:
- Only 5 totems spawn. Your teammates will probably want to cleanse them too, so you get maybe 2 charges per game, if you can find one when you need one.
- Cleansing a totem takes 12 seconds. Inner Strength takes 8 seconds in a locker to heal. Add in the time to run to a locker after you get the totem, and you probably could've Self-Cared in that time (32 seconds). Also, Self-Care is unlimited use and doesn't require cleansing a totem to use.
- If you're in SWF, you can ask a teammate to heal you, or use Bond if you're Solo.
I thought it seemed good at first, but I think it's better on paper than in practice. I'm not saying it's bad, but the condition of cleansing a totem is too unreliable, and there are better perks for getting healed.

The REAL benefit is that:
A - Cleansing totems has additional benefits
and
B - You can cleanse the totem before you've been chased, thus letting you have it procced when you need it most.
and finally
C - With other perks you can get it to heal you mid chase. Which is worth the setup time.

You're right about being able to get a charge before a chase/while healthy. Good point, I didn't think about that!
If you're talking about hiding in a locker mid-chase with Quick & Quiet, I guess that could work, but you need a full 8 seconds without the killer checking the locker. It's possible, but unreliable against competent killers imo.
Also, I'd like to add that I like this perk just because it will encourage Survivors to search for totems instead of doing gens for awhile. So, perhaps it's better than I thought. I'd still prefer Self-Care or a medkit, personally.

You can cleanse a totem ahead of time tho. So let’s say you cleanse a totem in the first minute of the game. Later in the game, when your actually injured, you can jump in a locker and heal.

Right, same thing the other commenter said: if you cleanse a totem at the start of the game, your perk will activate and you can use it once at any time throughout the game

Don't forget about DS and Head-on.
Quick and Quiet is one way to do it but DS is more effective. They either tank the DS or let you get the heal.
0 -
Or better yet, do both.
Hop into a locker (slowly to not proc Q&Q), if he waits you heal and Head On him. If he grabs you then you DS him and Q&Q into an unseen locker while he's stunned to get the heal anyways.

Nothing beats a medkit.
Medkits are always by far the best healing method in the game besides sometimes Adrenaline.

I personally feel like most of the new survivor perks will be awesome. And they will have no reason to be nerfed. The only perk I feel could need some small buff is Second Wind. I also wish the 20% walking speed of fixated would apply to healthy survivors. It's probably the perk i am most looking forward to.

I'd like to remind you that this doesn't specify dull totem. Meaning if you find ruin this perk procs.
And you can save it as long as you feel like.
1 -
Also you can use head-on, heal up then stun lol

Honestly, this perks seems busted.
I thought that you need to destroy totem when you are injured but if you can do that anytime for just 8 seconds seems like self-care just got nuked and deleted from the game lol.

Self-care is useless anyway. Why spend 30+ seconds healing when it’ll take me 16 with a med-kit, or 8 with this new perk?
1 -
Not everyone has 32 Ranger Med-kits with instaheals lol
0 -
I'm not talking about instant heals.
Simply having a 16 seconds self heal is already 200% efficiency. That's the same as Well make it except it's always and it doesn't take a perk slot.

NOT MINE
But it fits here so here you go
1 -
But a med-kit only works once or twice depending on the add-ons. Inner Strength is a one-time use but 8 seconds to be fully healed is pretty clutch
0 -
It is. I'm just saying a medkit isn't a fair comparison because a medkit is better than everything. So pointing out that it's better than this perk too (8+14 from cleansing a totem is slower than a medkit) doesn't mean much.

Yeah can't wait to be forced to not chase survivors because they jumped into a locker with DS
1 -
but it adds doing totems to the objective. Everyone who complains about Noed will now have an objective to do and can benefit from it later down the road
0 -
It does. I like the perk a lot and think it's a meta candidate.
What I am saying says more about how amazing Medkits are than anything about these perks.
0 -
True, but not everyone wants to run a med-lit, so this will definitely benefit. Especially when you don’t have to rely on random teammates to heal you lol
1 -
Why would you use an instaheal on a purple medkit?
0 -
I can’t understand. They give Us perks that makes survs not to do their objective and some of them are happy and excited. I think they should be killers mains and say these things only for devs to read them and think we are happy
0 -
Survivor main, actually. Totems are an objective because there are Hex’s such as Ruin and Noed that can turn the whole game around in a heartbeat. This will give people satisfaction to no Noed AND it makes killers stop complaining about being gen-rushed since we're doing totems to start the match

It was an example. Plus, I mentioned not everyone has purple medkits and instaheals. I mis-wrote
