Did you know....
Did you know bubble wrap was originally invented as wallpaper?
If you can’t wait to pop every air-filled pocket the minute you pull a piece of bubble wrap out of a package, can you imagine how irresistible it would be if it was covering your walls? Engineer Al Fielding and Swiss inventor Marc Chavannes probably didn’t consider that when, in 1957, they invented bubble wrap while trying to create a textured wallpaper by sealing two shower curtains together to trap air bubbles.

Did you know grapes light on fire in the microwave?
Back in 2011, a physicist at the University of Sydney went viral after he placed a grape in the microwave and filmed the fiery aftermath. And oddly enough, scientists couldn’t explain the phenomenon until quite recently. A March 2019 study published in Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences reported that the fruity fireball occurs as a result of the loose electrons and ions that cluster to form plasma when grapes get hot.

Did you know that the United States douses its poorer citizens with radioactive waste "just to see what happens" without consent or knowledge?
In the 1950s, the United States government said that they were testing smoke screens in St. Louis for protection against Soviet aerial attacks. They were actually spraying citizens with radioactive particles to study the effects. The US Military claimed that it was ‘harmless’ zinc cadmium sulfide particles, even after the truth was revealed, and the victims were mainly low-income families, particularly from minority communities.
Between 1960 and 1971, the Department of Defense funded non-consensual whole body radiation experiments on mostly poor and black cancer patients, who were not told what was being done to them. Patients were told that they were receiving a "treatment" that might cure their cancer, but the Pentagon was trying to determine the effects of high levels of radiation on the human body. One of the doctors involved in the experiments was worried about litigation by the patients. He referred to them only by their initials on the medical reports. He did this so that, in his words, "there will be no means by which the patients can ever connect themselves up with the report", in order to prevent "either adverse publicity or litigation"
Most of the recent unethical and nonconsensual experimentation in the United States in the last few decades have been based in genetics/eugenics, pharmacology, and deliberate exposure to pollution.

Did you know that in Michigan, it is illegal to tie your alligator to a fire hydrant? Nothing about owning one, you just can't tie one to a fire hydrant.
Another bizarre law here in the U.S. is in New York, where it is illegal to wear slippers in public after 10 pm. You also can't carry ice cream in your back pocket.
The final thing is it is illegal to kill Sasquatch in Skamania County in Washington. No joke.

Did you know Daniel Radcliffe went through nearly 70 wands and 160 pairs of glasses during the making of the Harry Potter films?
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the production team also made 40 versions of Salazar Slytherin’s locket, 250 paintings for the Marble Staircase, 900 Memory Vials for the cabinet in Dumbledore’s Office, and 210,000 coins for the Gringotts bank scene in the last two films alone.

Did you know, that there is a Nile crocodile called Gustave, also known as the Demon Crocodile of Burundi that has been recorded being likely over 20 feet (about 6 meters)?
This crocodile is considered the absolute apex predator in possibly all of Africa, that's because Gustave actively hunts Hippos for food, Hippos, the most dangerous animal in Africa, the animal that people have to hunt for them with rocket launchers.
Gustave is considered by the locals as an evil spirit, this is for two reasons. Reason number one: Bullets are nothing more than an annoyance to him, soldiers with AK-47s couldn't kill him, they had to throw grenades to scare him away. Why scare him away? That's because of reason number 2. Reason number two: Gustave kills people for fun. People have been found dead in the river Gustave lives in woth bite marks that match him, but they werent eaten, they were simply drowned by him.
All of these factors caused local residents to believe Gustave to be a demonic entity living only to create fear of the river itself

While its well known that Uranium (element 83) is the 1st radioactive element on the periodic table, Bismuth (element 82) has a half-life of 147 quadrillion years. So essentially forever.

It was discovered on a space mission that a frog can throw up. The frog vomits its entire stomach out so the organ is dangling out of its mouth. Then the frog uses its forearms to dig out all of the stomach's contents and swallows the stomach back down again.

Did you know Wombats can twerk predators to death?
Wombats' asses are mostly composed of cartilage, thus making them a though son of a *****
Their main way to defend themselves from predators is to hide into their borrows and block the entrance with their butt
However, as a last resort, when they have no other choice, the Wombat will go further down the borrow, just enough to let the predator's head inside the borrow, it will then slide its ass under the predator's head and use it's powerful legs to crush the predator's head between its Beyonce size ass and the roof of the borrow
