I didn't realize the names were supposed to be what the survivors called them. That makes sense. Maybe the ghost face isn't so bad after all.

I've been thinking about it. The ghost is still better than the ghost face. And he's all got a ghosts face and robes and is silent, so he totally could have been the ghost. Unless the devs have another killer in mind they are saving that name for, which is what I assumed the day ghost face was released and it was there, the ghost face. Hopefully someday we have the zombie, the mask, the doll, the creeper, etc. And unless the survivors are big into dungeons and dragons it shouldn't be the demogorgon

Why? Ghostface is no ghost to begin with, lol, it IS worse as it doesn't even remotely have something in common with the killer himself.
I get it, it is your opinion, you like The Ghost more than The Ghost Face, but it simply doesn't fit the killer. His mask resembles a ghost, I agree, but you could say the same about Myers and the name wouldn't fit at all.
At least "The Ghost Face" is true to the character in some form. Besides

The face of a ghost, silent to survivors, has flowy robes, makes creepy rustling sounds as the killer, how is this not a ghost again? Except that he can't move through solid matter?
