Yellow Memento Mori = DC
Survivors are so scared of Mori's that they leave in loading screen even if I use Cypress Mori or Shroud of Separation.

This will hopefully happen less often when the Dedicated servers show up. In the mean time I would use Devour Hope, at least you won't get the DC in the beginning of the match and might get Survivors who think they can find the totem before you get the 5th stack.

If the player doesn't like it or feel things are unfair (killer or survivor) they will continue to DC. As someone once said "If they ban me that's a vacation."

yellow mori is pretty much the only mori that doesn't give you an "easy game"... you legit have to earn that kill.

Moris are for Daily rituals and toxic survivors from previous games 🙃

With dedicated servers survivors will dc anyway. Only they play less when punished

The OP was referring to yellow moris and Shrouds though, which neither removes a survivor from the match any sooner than they wouldve been removed WITHOUT the offering.

Except OP wants to use a Cypress Mori. How do they want an easy game if they are bringing an offering that only be used when there's only one Survivor left?

We are talking about secret offerings. Survivors do not know if that secret offering is gonna be an ebony,ivory or cypress mori. They just suppose it's gonna be an ebony or an ivory, because ( at least in my experience) almost no one equips cypress or shroud of separation.

All offerings should be secret, to people can’t DC when they see a secret killer offering. Plus, since for survivor it’s either all start together, or you start as far away as possible, the killer can use this to make their first move, as there’s a 50/50 chance if you head to the furthest away part of the map, you’ll find someone. Seeing what other BP offerings people play isn’t game-changing so I can’t see a reason why this can’t be secret too. It’ll also stop the farming when people see bloody party streamers.

I think when killers stop DCing on certain maps, they can complain about survivors DCing with a Mori.

While that is true, the amount of killers who DC on Haddonfield is far more frequent. I get why, don't get me wrong, but it's like the pot calling the kettle black.

It wasn't shifting blame. In order to do that I would have had to deliberately dismiss the original statement against survivors, which I did not. It was a point of comparison.
You can't just say 'survivors DC more because there's more of them'. You have to make that distinction proportionately. Proportionately it would be about the same.

Killers dodge lobbies over cosmetics, items, survivors loading at the same time. They DC when their hex totem gets popped, map offerings, and flashlight saves.
Secret offerings are ebony or ivory moris 95% of the time. So nobody knows you're playing a shroud or cypress. Mori's are lame.

Honestly, if I’m going to die, I’d rather die to a Mori anyway. At least I get a cool death scene. I don’t get people who DC on Mori’s.

i use moris cause i like the animation. and i also like when the animation bugs out and im killing them through a wall or im killing someone whos 3 feet to the left of me.

Some people bring good items or offerings and don't want to waste it against a potantional mori tunnel quick game. Understandable, cuz it would be real waste.

Yup I will use my shroud offerings just to try and get a DC for fun. Its great when I send them a screenshot of the offering after sending them a "gg" to get hate mail.

Fair enough, but 90% of the time I see people DC in regards to Mori’s it’s in the process of them being Mori’d. If you DC then, you’re just kinda dumb. Also, I saw someone else mention this, but if survs DC because of Mori’s, I don’t feel that they should be able to complain about killers DCing because of instaheals. Just my 2¢, I guess

Uhm just fyi: no survivor complains about killers rage quitting, especially not toxic survivors. In fact, a killer rage quitting is a highlight for them. Just watch any swf groups how they react when a killer DCs. They all have a great laugh and mocking how bad he was and move in to the next game with the free escape points.

I generally only use an Ivory. And with an Ebony I kill on the last hook. I just think the mori's look cool

One insta heal can restart a chase. If the Survivor is any good, it will take another 30ish seconds to down them. Plenty of time for at least one gen to pop, plus, you just wasted a ton of time chasing and downing them. Besides, OP is using a CYPRESS MORI, you know, the one you can only use qt the end of the gane.

I'd love to run Devour Hope and get a mori for my daily, but literally is a waste of a perk slot when survivors can still spawn on top of totem (while not on LoS), I had several games using DH and none could get at least to two stacks so I gave up and used a Yellow Mori and the first game I got it.
