Some tips for Leather Face?

Ok so I recently started playing Mr. Owner-Of-Barbaque and Chilly and I need some tips. When should I chainsaw vs smacking them with my hammer? Is it useful to use NOED on him or use that perk slot on something else? What are some crazy builds I can do with him (I like to spice things up every once in awhile)?

Carburetor tuning guide + Primer bulb or The Grease can really help him out.

People think that he needs to be played like the Billy and say Carburetor tuning guide and Primer bulb is the best way to go.

The 2 scratches add-ons with either the Tuning guide or bulb is the best combo. The scratches gives him the speed/distance to catch up and hit the chainsaw downs. He is very dependent on good add-on combinations.

I like to run Agitation, Iron Grasp, Thanatophobia and Monitor and Abuse. Agitation and Iron Grasp to get them to the basement, Thanatophobia to give incentive for other survivors to save the basement hooked survivors, and Monitor and Abuse so I can lightly patrol around the basement without having the heartbeat give me away. The strategy for me is hook someone in the basement, patrol around until I see scratch marks and then trap them in. If I'm lucky then it snowballs from there.

I think you left out your rank 20 status.

I swear I hit rank 1 recently and believe me survivors will dive for those saves even at rank 1 just don't  get caught being to close to the basement. Monitor and abuse seriously mess up a survivors capabilities to make an optimum save.

    My first advice :
    Play Billy, the superior version.

If you really want to play LF, however, you need to master camping.
And by Master Camping, I mean mastering the timing you have to have to come back to manage to get a multiple hit chainsaw, which isn't easy to manage, because you have to make the survivors to think they have TIME to save, while they don't.

Over than that, the usual chainsaw mindgames are cool like, revving to feint you're gonna break a pallet, and don't and cancel to keep chasing.
Other than that, he's pretty bland overall.
You can eventually try some slugging with deerstalker to try to force people in the open to get some more hits/double hit upon healers.

Well in this case then, I'm the lord of the harvest with LF because I always seem to time this strategy perfectly

This^^^^^. Carb and Beast Marks make him a train of death. The best piece of advice is know your loops. I sawed a survivor at a jungle gym because I knew that the saw would be charged before her route got ger back to the window. ezpz

At least you didn't bring up the meme insidious build. Also, survivors at high rank got worse, so easy to pip now peeps who suck at chases are in my lobbies. You can run enduring and force major pallets to be used, towards end of game 2 gens left start slugging. He still eats pallets, but by pushing a survivor to use all he can cause survivors do fall for this, there's less pallets to stop your massive aoe chainsaw. So have fun and wave that chainsaw with deer stalker+knockout and kill all four peeps. Enduring also helps you catch up if you get dstriked while trynna hook your slugged peeps.
