Does borrowed time not work while NOED is active?
If it’s supposed to work then there’s a bug. Got rescued with borrowed time and was downed in one hit about 5 seconds later, the base time for borrowed time is 15 seconds.

Yes you most likely didnt get BT then or the killer waited it out.

The important thing to note with BT is it only works if you get unhooked within the killer's TR. Had a teammate the other day THINK he was giving someone BT against a Myers that was nearby, but the Myers had such a small TR...that it didnt work.
To answer your question though, BT should protect you from ANY hit during the time its active, including chainsaw hits and other 1 shots.

The killer was standing right by the hook and I got the notif that borrowed time was active on the side of the screen, not sure why it would have happened

It was a leather face but he hit me with his base attack

I did, he didn’t have insidious. The game probably just crapped out for a second lol nbd. Thanks for trying to help though!

Sounds like a bug then. Was thinking maybe it was a leatherface who managed to hit you twice with the chainsaw swings, but you said base attack.
