How will DLC be handled in the Mobile version of DBD?
So my understanding is that the mobile version will be free, but will DLC cost extra? The original chapters could probably be free, but what about licensed characters like Myers or Freddy?

@Yung_Slug - The licensed characters are purchased with cells and the original characters are unlocked with cells/shards. The only characters unlocked on download are :
Billy
Trapper
Dwight
Meg
Claudette
OG Characters cost 500 cells or 9000 shards
Licensed Characters cost 500 cells

Oh, okay. Sucks that I'll have to pay for my main again, but it makes sense.

It's pretty lame that you don't even start with 4 survivors so each one in a team can be different. Why do you have to pay for Jake?

Wait Jake, Wraith and Huntress have to be bought or grind unlocked on mobile? 🤔

Are cells and shards easy to grind?

Correct.
Cells you pay for, IIRC its $5 for 500. And shards in my limited time playing are easy to acquire.

@StrainedSky cheers for that. But, I have had experiences on the mobile port... I can never find a match, especially with killers, making it near impossible to grind any sort of amount of shards out...

Yeah. I feel you. Jake should be a starter, no doubt, like #########?

If someone trys to play dead by daylight like on the go will there be an option to play as the dlcs bought on PC or console?

No, they are bought separately. However, you get some auric cells for free as you play so you can eventually buy licensed characters.
