Party Streamers Are Cursed

I swear everytime I have a few pretty relaxed games I think "Hey I'll equip a streamer that'll make everyone happy and get both sides to do some really ambitious and fun stuff"


You play against survivors they will hold m1 to the freaking ground. They will rush those generators, get out of chases as soon as they can and finish the game in about 4 minutes. All so they can get additional escape points that don't hold a candle to the chase points


You play killer they'll go 4k crazy on you even though prolonging the chase and engaging multiple players will get them more BP they are focused on total elimination


I just don't get why

    Everyone just asdumes the other side will be a jerk whenever double bp goes online. It’s sad but unfortunately this has become a somewhat safe assumption as evidenced by this thrrad; so it becomes a self fulfilling prophecy.

    They want to take as much points as possible. I mean, 5k points for escaping is quite nice. As especially as survivor when you usually max out bold or objective but nowhere near hit the cap in survival. It's harder to get more BP as survivor, so it's just reasonable that this happens.

    I'm gonna be honest, whenever I see a pudding/bps from the killer, I always get paranoid that the dude has some serious add-ons equipped.

    Yeah it kept happening to me the other day too. I'd have a string of games with decent people and decide to slap on a BPS and.... it's a slugging Nurse with addons. Stuff like that happened almost every time until I ran out.

    really? thats weird

    everytime i eq a pudding or sth just for myself I do it to prevent toxic gameplay like bluefeng meant. The only thing I ever do with a pudding is eq bbq.

    Its worse as survivor. If I use one as survivor I get farmed on hook. I stopped using them as survivor unless I see players i know in the lobby.

    More cursed as survivor, last time I put them up got basement bubba and trapper in two back to back matches (different players). As killer, sometimes safer to save them for bp events since you know you’re going to get rushed into the ground during those events anyway.

    I don’t get the need to be as horrible as a killer anyway, you can get no kills and get tons of bp with BBQ plus the streamers, survivors basically need that 5k of escape points because of how pitiful the scoring can be, but often get stomped into the ground because the killer gets greedy and slugs, runs strong addons/moris etc, and only get 5000-10000 from those matches.

    I get the play it like it’s a normal match thing but whenever streamers or anniversary cakes go up seems like it’s far from a normal match.

    Before they fixed the game freezing at loading screen thing (i think they fixed that, didnt have that in a long time) they were increasing the chance of that happenning.

    Literally 1/4 times i used one i would get a freeze loading screen
