Apologies for the mess
Hello guys. You probably heard about the mess involving someone's speculation on the dates the Bloodhunt would happen. I already shared my feelings and apologized on some discussions, but I'll do it again.
I've only been an Admin on DBD Wiki for 2 months. The person who speculated these dates is the most experienced Admin of the Wiki, they've been an admin since 2017. They are also the only one to have contact with the devs. I thought I could trust them regarding these dates. I have been told some horrible things as well, but this isn't strictly related to this theme. Now the community is very upset and disappointed with the Wiki. I feel really awful right now. Even though I'm not responsible for the dates, the least I can do is to apologize to the community: I'm sorry.
This person also apologized, but they can't speak for themselves cuz they've been previously banned.
Please forgive me, the wiki, and the person who made this speculation. They didn't have bad intentions.

Here is the only quote I got from the person who wrote the dates on the main page:
"I am sorry that a date sourced from the game itself and published on the Wiki caused some confusion".

Clearly, as far as I can see their game service servers (live servers) still are programmed for a Bloodhunt event to start exactly on Thursday, 05-Sep-19 15:00:00 UTC
But of course they still have time to change that.

Idk how you did that but the devs almost confirmed that these aren’t the dates at which the Bloodhunt would happen. Anyway, I don’t know exactly how the person got these dates, talk to them personally if you wanna know that cuz I don’t wanna get in trouble with them.
