Console FPS suddenly plummeted recently

I was getting some solid 30-60 FPS on my Xbox one S, but recently it’s been close to around 15-25. Very choppy, and I don’t quite know why this is happening.

Is this happening to others as well?

Edit: Only when I play killer.

I also play on PS4, and it's been pretty smooth and consistent. I've noticed on Xbox One not DBD mind you but other games, with it always being on it has issues maintaining frame rates after a while. So maybe try unplugging it, waiting for a bit and then plugging it back in. Might help, who knows.

I’m on ps4 pro and the frames were going up until recently. Especially on maps like Coldwind, MacMillan Estate, and autohaven and other maps were ok. But on survivors I always had really smooth FPS and smooth skill checks and now they’re back to being somewhat choppy. Now I feel only autohaven is somewhat smooth as killer the rest are a little smooth and a little choppy

I'm on XB1 and I'm getting lots of fps drops lately playing killer. Sometimes the screen even freezes for about half a second. It's weird because after the first optimization update the game fps was really smooth. It's like the devs reverted the update.

They seem pretty bad on console lately. I despise getting bloodlust since it drops your frames so bad it actually works AGAINST you.

Do SSD'S help as much as I heard with performance for ps4?

It's doing this for me only when I play Doc.

It usually only happens when I play certain killers.

I thought that mainly helped for copying updates faster and maybe slightly faster load times.

Fps on ps4 pro has always been bad for me as killer.

    Survivor fps seems solid though.
