Everyone says this. Legion was borderline toxic and needed a rework, MOM should of never existed outside of PTB it needs another rework, and GF had balancing fixes not nerfs.

It's not the worst advice honestly. It's true that BHVR has a history of making changes to newly released content within 3 months of release. IMHO, most of the time the changes are reasonable and often to be expected. I'm not a fan of the Legion and MoM changes specifically, but most of the time I think the changes are decent. None the less, if you are a player that is easily disgruntled by paid content being changed after purchase then the OP is giving decent advice. Wait at least 3 months to be on the safe side. If you are a player who has bought previous content and were happy then you can purchase this one and expect to be happy as well.

I'm not buying the DLC nor even playing the game until Matchmaking is fixed. Peanits said they're hunting down the issue that popped up out of the blue, so they're trying. But the game just isn't fun for me constantly going against players way above my Rank and skill level.

That is understandable. I have been playing against many low rank killers lately. I really felt bad for them.. so I can definitely feel your pain. Hope there will be a fix soon for this issue.

@GODQueenEvy I've no doubt they'll eventually find the culprit in the code and get a fix into the game. Peanits said they didn't make any adjustments on their end to MM, so why the issue came out is a question. Sadly, that also means that they probably don't have a point of reference (i.e. a tweak) to start from, either.
I just hope they get it sorted out before the DLC goes live, or at least delay it until they do. Because with MM the way it is right now, I can't see them retaining a bunch of new players that might give the game a try for Stranger Things.
The highest rank I ever hit as Killer was Rank 12 because I only play occasionally. And believe me when I tell you, I got there too fast and didn't belong there. I didn't play in months and reset back to Rank 19 in that time. I did three matches last night, and every one of them had purple and red rank survivors.
Well, two matches, really. On the third match, I just DC'ed and exited the game entirely. And I never DC. But that's how unplayable it is for me.
So, I've just been messing around in Overwatch trying out the RoleQ in Quick Play (I hate it), but mostly playing the single player challenges over in Friday the 13th.

Yeah ! I won't deny this. It s an amazing DLC.
OP was just about "Buy it if you want, I wont change your mind, but don't come on forums to cry about things BHVR always do when they release new content".

Legion needed a rework, not an utter nerfing into the ground like Freddy got. That being said, I'm buying Demo at least.

Its just good customer practice in general to not buy games, or in this case DLCs, on release.
I just hope that people who do buy it right away don't get furious when Behavior does what Behavior do and nerf perks post-release.

Honestly if Legion had 2 or changes he would of been fine. Frank's Mix tape and Moonwalking Exploits being his biggest offenders. I recall there being one more, but can't seem to remember.

Nobody said Demodog was being nerfed

Demogorgon will be rather buffed a bit by the devs instead of nerfed because he definitly needs some tweaks. For example, his charge should be a bit more controllable, his portals need to be built faster and travelling through them must be faster as well.

Everyone and their mom said that Legion was extremely boring to play and face on the ptb, there was no way he wasn't gonna get changed. Same with MoM except for boring, everyone knew it was op and getting a nerf.
Ghostface wasn't nerfed, it was clearly said that he was going to get some tweaks but they just didn't get it in the patch.

Legion was as obnoxious as players that go to a ptb with their fully maxed characters to mori/gen rush
That said all he needed as adjustments, BHVR went so far as to nuke Legion to the point he's weaker then Wraith

This should be common knowledge by now, for both Killer and survivors.
If the strength of the killer or survivor perks is a deciding factor of yours for a chapter then yes you should wait at least 2 weeks before buying. Just look at how many people were annoyed by MoMs Nerf even though everyone knew It needed one.

It's just weird that such an issue appears out of nowhere. Noone touched anything. Is the code an living organism and just changed itself? Tbf, I don't know much about matchmaking coding, but from my logical perspective it doesn't make sense. Whatever, I just hope it gets fixed soon. I can barely play with that, it's tilting me to much

@justarandy In other threads, some folks mentioned that it happened right after the last update they did. I personally don't know, as I was just coming back after not playing for several months. But if that's the case, then that's where it screwed up.
Just like in many games, I've played Test Servers and things were fine in certain areas. The patch gets sent to live, and all kinds of bugs suddenly materialize that weren't on the test server. Code is evil. :)

Lol, nobody said all the other stuff was going to be nerfed during PTB either. Maybe Demigorgon gets nerfed. Maybe it doesn't. No one can say for sure until it's been in the hands of the masses for a while. It's dash range seems pretty strong to me though. I wouldn't be shocked if they tuned it down.
