Is it really so difficult to buff Resilience?!

Only change this perk needs - larger numbers, thats all! Something like 15/16/18% and this perk is viable!

EDIT: yeah, 10/11/12% will be better, 18% is too strong.

Resilience is the perk that increases vault speed right?

If it is that perk is a life saver!

I cannot count how many times this perk saved my life when I was mid chase

  • lol, why does it need a buff? It’s great already. I use it in every build.

I mean, not every perk has to be meta. It’s ok for some perks to be situational or unique.

we already have a no healing meta where ppl just rush the gens and dont give a ######### about being injured because against most of the killers there is zero negative to it.

Resilience doesn't need a buff like that.

18% is huge, but toolbox with brown repair speed add-on increases fix speed by 25%, is it notmal?

Maybe toolboxes need to be nerfed, especially commodious, this one with two repair speed add-ons is OP.

Honestly when it comes to resilience the only thing needs to happen is that it should be combined with the current this isn't happening. Whilst this isn't happening gets reworked to do something else while you're injured

Also, Unbreakable was decent already before but you buffed it. So, why not slightly enhance Resilience, at least 10/11/12%?

I get wanting a numbers buff, but 18% would be too much.

Brown toolbox is used by one gen. Resilience lasts the whole trial.

Yup, 25% from "limited" item and add-ons is normal but 18% from perk isn't.

Don't forget that repair speed bonus from Resilience can be stack with toolbox, add-ons and other perks.

Even Prove thyself still required you to repair gen with friends and it only give you 10% repair speed bonus.

Since survivors these days are repair gens fast enough and I don't want to blame about gen rush (because it is the only main objective that survivors can do), so 18% from Resilience will make gen rush even worse.

//I still agree that Resilience needs a buff, but 18% is too much.

Maybe built in faster action repair sabo and vault speed with no mither then

if they buffed the numbers that much vault and repair speed would have to be removed and vault speed is what makes resilience unique

Resilience is fine, I love this perk.

I'm one of them! I just want it to be 10% instead of 9%

please it's been bugging me for years

    What about this Peanits?

    Resilience:

You are motivated in dire situations. Grants 9%/12%/15% additional speed when repairing, sabotaging, healing, unhooking, vaulting, cleansing, opening Exit Gates and searching Chests while injured, and within the killer's Terror Radius.

I'd really rather not have that extra requirement just for 6% more action speed, especially since the perk won't be as useful against stealthy killers.

honestly, i always wondered why it was 9% instead of 10%...

There's just one problem with buffing resilience

For optimal survivors being injured isn't much of a concern, the 15-20 seconds they spend healing each other they can easily just push out a generator and activate adrenaline.

Buffing a perk that rewards survivors for not healing and gives them massive speed boosts means your gonna see generators go active even faster. Oh man I can just imagine how hilarious a four man SWF with 15% speed buffed Resilience would be against a Legion or Plague

Those characters would be better off actually not even using their power

It could be 10%/15%/20%, this perk would punish killers for ignoring survivors on generators (you know when you work on a generator when the killer is right there). :)

Maybe, but I feel like your idea would be better as a completely separate perk. Maybe one that ditches the injury requirement, increases your action speed inside the terror radius over time, and decays the perk's benefits over time when you're outside the terror radius. Having the terror radius requirement *and* having to be injured is just so much and too situational imo

Because 9% makes for nice and equal 3% increments on the different levels. I'd like it to cap out at 10% too because that is also a nice number.

It's not bad though. It helps with basically every single standard action, and it's 60% of the speed bonus the Wake Up bug offered so that's certainly something.

Although I agree that the proposed buff would be too much, I also feel that a good chunk of that statistic could be attributed to Resilience being a generic bloodweb perk. It's currently on my main survivor right now not because I love it, but because I would have to grind up a different specific survivor to level 40-ish then encounter the perk I was aiming for three times on my normal survivor for it to be worth switching out the level 3 Resilience I got almost by default.

Same here! My favorite number is 10 and I love nice, even numbers. The 9% has been driving me crazy!

Problem is, loops are balanced around the certain vault speeds survivors have right now. Or at least they are getting there now with the new map reworks. Giving any significant buff to the vaulting speed might screw up certain loops that are otherwise fair in design.

At least that's what I believe. To be fair, 12% still doesn't seem like it would be too much. Not sure about gen repair speed though either.

I’m sure most people already know this but Resilience applies the 3/6/9% speed increase when teammates are performing altruistic actions on you. The speed increase from Resilience isn’t applied if you’re being healed during the dying state but Spine Chill can add it’s 2/4/6% speed increase.

    TL:DR

In regards to why Resilience offers a 9% increase instead of 10 and so on was because it was likely expected to be combined with Spine Chill. Under the right circumstances like at an endgame exit gate for example, the 9% boost from resilience and the sudden bump up to 15% as the killer is approaching with the spine chill combo can sometimes save you by a hair. Milliseconds matter haha.

Spine and Resilience can be used during an entire match unlike Wake Up.

Resilience, Wake Up, and a teammate close by with Leader, you can open an exit gate just under 10 seconds. If the killer stood there staring at you the entire time then Spine Chill shaves it down to 9 seconds. Maxed out Remember Me would be slightly over 18 seconds and with the SC stare just barely over 16 seconds. Unless I missed something those numbers should be fairly accurate.

If you enjoy opening the gate when you’re the Killer from time to time like I do then none of those numbers really matter anyway;p

Can you not?! (killer perk) - When a Survivor fails a skill check of any kind that Survivors teammates will scream in anger and the killer will get a visual cue of their location.

A point based resilience would be nice...

So there is a base % speed on everything, and then certain actions during "dire situations" would grant a bonus. Something like picking someone off the ground for example, would grant speed % bonus on "healing"... or finishing a generator from x proximity from the killer grants bonus speed skill checks... they could even be temporary or something.

I’m running it right now in a feeble attempt to counter the slow down meta. IW, DS, Adrenaline, Resilience.
