We all play DBD differently and we all contribute.

@Mister_Holdout - So if you can't beat Zubatlel you don't deserve your red ranks? If that were the case very few people would be at red ranks.
If you are in red ranks, you deserve to be at red ranks. Because thats how ranks work.

Guys, rank doesn’t mean skill. You’ll rank up just by playing, it is just a matchmaking tool.

YUP! the enity decides on if you did enough YOURSELF if you deserved to pip or not, not because of the team carrying you!

Cries in purple ranks 😥

Tbf I’m purple rank as killer. :P

Except you are completely wrong. That is not what this thread is. I would argue it is the exact opposite actually. This is a thread designed to advocate complacency. The OP is stating that "just because you aren't good at x,y, and z it doesn't matter. As long as you contribute with whatever you can do that is good enough." Not only is that not true, but it also discourages player growth. People should acknowledge their weaknesses and attempt to improve upon them. Having a specialization or preferred play-style is fine. Using that as an excuse to not improve isn't.

Nonsense. You play the way I want everyone to play or ur bad gud git.

Is this Overwatch?

@SureSpear Which has gotten even worse under RoleQ. After 3+ years, the wife and I uninstalled. Long live DBD!

Eh, I prefer FFXIV to both. A fun multiplayer experience combined with actual working servers. Huzzah!

Again I disagree.
Not only is looping incredibly easy bc of the amount pallets but idk what servor or platform you play on. I never meet a red rank looper who could reliably do generator.
My guess is bc they tend to just loop and juke they aren't naturally thinking about ways to hide.
You know when I say doing a gen I mean continually. Meaning to hide from the killer whilst he's patrolling the said gen and be able to work around him.
Like I said, you play an important role but it means NOTHING if no one can do gens whilst you are healing or trying to leurre the killer to a teammate.
I guess my point is that if ppl like you snook around more and would let the killer "naturally" find his/her targets, maybe ppl (bc I've seen a LOT of ppl that noticed the same thing) wouldn't have such a bad opinion of higher ranks.
I'm always red/purple rank and I know exactly what you're doing and to me it is toxic especially to the new/lower ranks players.

@SureSpear That's the MMO, right? Never tried it. But I played MMOs as my main genre of gaming from 1999 until 2016. I stopped when Overwatch came out. Tried again in WoW with Legion and BFA, and recently with City of Heroes: Homecoming, since retail CoH was my main MMO for its 8 years of life.
Sadly, at 46 years old, I think my love of that style of game is a thing of the past. Just can't seem to get into them anymore. While I was never into shooters until Overwatch, and am unlikely to ever play shooters again, I think I prefer the quicker in-and-out games nowadays. Something with short 10-20 minute matches.
I'm really enjoying the iconic horror style of Dead by Daylight and Friday the 13th for that. I get the quick games and then can logout after a few, and also get to revisit my childhood horror icons from the 80s. Being a major horror fan helps, too. Hell, I make part of my living in the horror genre.

@TheUnendingNightmare I don't know what else to tell you.
Looping efficiently is the most difficult thing a survivor can do. And it's also the most important.
Everything else is easy mode.
In my view, being an effective runner is required in red ranks otherwise you'll never beat a veteran killer. That's just how it is.

Gawds we are like a dysfunctional family on this forum, and i am the weird Aunt :) lova ya guys! >.<

Yeah, that's the MMO. Most of the content is in it's phenomenal single player story campaign though.
Well, most of it is phenomenal. A Realm Reborn is... Ehhhh... Not the greatest.

@SureSpear Yeah, I've always heard good things about the Final Fantasy MMO. Especially as it's grown after the reboot.

Nope it isn't.
Keep thinking what you want and be toxic to your team. Idc we're not friends. Lol
