the dead by daylight development team. Instead of generators, you would be repairing fans on PCs/Consoles, and the dev team would hack the gmae machines and make them overheat while survivors tried to repair them. So instead of repairing from 0-100% the survivors would have to repair the game machines fan to make it's temperature drop from 100 to 0%.
However, whenever the survivors successfully repaired all of the game machines, they would instantaneously start the trial over, with all game machines regressed to 100%, realizing that the game can never be optimized, therefore they can never leave the game. Leaving them to endlessly replace the fans of these game machines with no end in sight.
