Double blood points?
Excuse me if this question has already been asked, but are the double blood points expected in these days?

Wouldnt think so, if double bp is coming i'd expect it after the new dlc drops.

Hopefully we get an event on the 17th when the Stranger Things chapter comes out. I feel like they'd do it then because of the amount of new players.

I thought they were doing it just before the DLC dropped? We are coming upon Friday the 13th, after all; double bloodpoints would be a way to celebrate it.

Is it really worth it before the dlc? The dlc drop is when I'll actually spend bps

If they don't do it within a week of the release of the DLC, don't hype yourselves up for one, since it got cancelled that doesn't necessarily mean they will reschedule it.

I'm pretty sure they usually don't do double bloodpoints right after a DLC drop. At least, I don't think they have since I've been playing.
That doesn't mean they certainly won't this time, but I'm just saying I wouldn't expect it to happen. The way they schedule these things, I don't think they want people to be able to immediately and easily level up newly released characters.

I hope they come tomorrow and that Mr. Mcote on stream announces the DBP event.... theres always a stream after the PTB.

@MiniPixels By "got cancelled," if you mean the September 5th date announced at the Wiki, Peanits said in the forums the week before the 5th that the Wiki was incorrect, and no Bloodhunt Event had been announced by Behavior.
He stated they did have one planned for soon, but that they were not ready to announce anything yet.

Well sine it leaked and a lot of people got excited, I just think it's cruel not to do one, give some happiness to counter the most predatory grind in non mmorpg

There was supposed to be a BP hunt to make up for the lack of a Summer event.
Even if it comes out before the bloodweb changes that's still not bad because a lot of gameplay during this time will help to bank extra streamers. I have dozens of gateauxs left over from the anniversary earlier this year. I'll start using them in the new bloodweb.

@tortrader Ah, gotcha. I wasn't playing or following DbD for almost six months, so wasn't around for any summer event vs bloodhunt talks.

It's not the devs' fault that one of the wiki people published unverified information.
There will be a x2 BP event. Just don't take any claim of dates seriously unless you read about it on the DBD Twitter, Facebook or forums.

Well but since A LOT of people were expecting it, not for the devs fault, they could give us a cookie and give us a blood hunt.
It wouldn't hurt anybody, even a short 2 days one to save points fir stranger things
