Shadow Nerf to Spine Chill
Is it true that Undetectable counters Spine Chill? Can anyone give me some confirmation? I'll have to swap it for Iron Will.

Supposedly not though it should imo..kind of defeats the purpose of the status and plus one of the few perks with no real counter

Undetectable means you don't hear the terror radious and can't read the aura.
Spine chill should work normally

Even if it did counter it it would still be very useful vs most of the cast and even stealth killers arnt 24/7 stealthing...plus it still makes prayer beads useless which is crazy enough lol

You can moonwalk and Spine Chill won’t trigger.
@OP I’m also taking Spine chill out of my build, better perks are out there, I guess.

Sure but you also cant see where your going and that is if you know..plus it's pointless as you need yo turn around eventually to do anything

same goes for some killer perks. they getting countered to 100% by the new status effects. so stupid.

I really hope it's a bug and not intentional. The description of Undetectable means that it shouldn't counter SpCh

Only Myers is immune. And that's because doesn't chill spines, he soothes the soul. You take one look at him and go "Oh, that's Myers. He's the best boi. I'm safe around him."

Peantis Confirmed that undetectable does not impact the see through stealth perks but will impact aura reading perks.
So Premonition or Spine Chill are not impacted by this effect.

Well spine chill can gain a HUGE advantage against spirit, especially if with prayer beads, nurse, and all killers. You can prevent a lot of chases, hide even before the terror radius.

I know this, I’ll still use it in swf since I can’t hear the heartbeat very well when talking to people but you don’t really need Spine chill to predict spirit.

If you expect it for some reason you can technically moonwalk to avoid spine chill

Basically Premonition, Spine Chill, Alert, Object of Obsession, etcetera will not work against any killer with an active undetectable aura about them. To include crouched Pig, cloaked Wraith, stealthed Ghostface, recently burrowed Demogorgon, E1 Myers, and potentially Insidious users. If it causes the black squiggly lines on the sides of your screen that hamper your vision, you're Undetectable.
