Detective's Hunch Appreciation
All these pointless arguments about NOED reminded me that a perk like Detective's Hunch exists. The perk alone puts map add-ons to shame and saves you the item slot of using a map (Maps gain a HUGE detection boost regardless of what map you're using). 64m aura detection of gens, chests, and more importantly totems after completing a generator is incredible map information for those hard to find totems. Too bad many people sleep on Tapp's perks.

I love using Tapp's perks. I think they are underrated
I only wish Detective's Hunch would activate when any gen is done and not just when you finish one

That should be recommended to the devs, since they are applying that effect to Dark Sense on Tuesday. Though come to think of it, the perk only effects you, so other people triggering it could be problematic and abusable in some way. I'd say maybe dramatically increase the time auras appear as imo 5 seconds is very fast.

Poised and Dark sense also only affect you and yet they still get triggered by any finished gen, I might oversee the problem thou

Agreed. Considering on average each person is only gonna be fixing 1 or 2 gens, you're only gaining value from this if you manage to pop a gen early.

I would just be happy if it would always trigger when a generator has been repaired, regardless of whether you completed that gen or not. Or if it at least got an increased active time.

I use a map that can track totems, so Detective's Hunch will add the totems revealed to me to my map! :D

I use the hell out of Tapp's perks, especially Stake Out. I used to bring Detective's Hunch all the time as well, but have recently swapped it out for Small Game to find those annoying totems even when I haven't completed a gen yet.

I personally don't feel like that would become overpowered honestly. Your are using an perk and an item for that. Compared to the power of the meta perks and the power of other items I don't see this being in any way op.

Yeah, this perk is useful, the only thing I would change is the condition to make activate whenever a gen is done.
