I hope we don't have a Pennywise chapter
34 -
Inb4 misery chapter confirmed
6 -
It had better be either The Shining or Carrie, I'm taking a break if it's Pennywise, he isn't even scary.
8 -
You dirty birdy
5 -
MCote said, nothing is off the table, nothing is too big...
Any tables or large monsters in King books? 🤔
I hope it's Annie from Misery so we can tie up survivors and break their ankles so they can't run!
4 -
I will spend $20 for Tim Curry Pennywise
11 -
Ohhh or maybe Christine! We could drive around and run down survivors
3 -
Honestly, if this is true and they aren't just messing with us, the next chapter is most likely going to be Pennywise
The new movie just came out, so maybe people would be still hyped about it
I honestly don't want this, I want an original chapter
7 -
But this is a horror game, not a comedy

THATS BESIDES THE POINT YUNGUN
2 -
I hope we get a “Maximum Overdrive” chapter so I can run survivors over as a truck.
3 -
I would love a It chapter, I think I fits the lore. The entity is a powerful being.
1 -
Yup. We're getting IT.
2 -
YES PLEASE, i will pay gladly
1 -
Hmmmmmmmm........... oooh! Yeah!...... I followed him too, hes fairly active and I really like his latest book that he put out, it's very interesting. I'm happy to see that bhvr has the same interest in Stephen King as I do :)
1 -
Stephen King's Silver Bullet
Gary Busey - survivor
Reverend Lowe- killer
4 -
It will obviously be based on Shawshank Redemption.
2 -
Okay, we're most likely getting It as the mapless Killer that comes out next but personally, I hope this is the start of a partnership with King that leads to future King based killers, Jack Torrance, Reverend Lowe, etc.

I can totally understand why people wouldn't want Pennywise in the game, but I personally wouldn't mind that. I do like the look of the new Pennywise more though so I'd hope they would go with him.
I feel like they could do some interesting things with him though. Maybe even use lockers to his advantage.

Cujo... Maybe we'll get a dog killer.
3 -
I loved that movie
2 -
Pls, no IT. I hear enough about that movie as it is, if it's added congrats but I really hope its something else lol
2 -
I don't wanna drop a pallet on a dog... :/

The new IT movies (both) were popcorn munching garbage. They weren't scary if you had a basic understanding of how jumpscares work, and the character development stuff was just that generic "Stranger things / super 8 / insert "Remember when kids use to ride their bikes"" in a nutshell. The clown isn't scary, he's just a Freddy Kreuger knockoff. No IT chapter, please.
Give us an original killer.

You were in a horrible generator explosion and need to rest. The mist outside is too think and the phones are down, but don't worry I'll help make you better.
I have self-care, Bond and Mori-ah...I mean Botany knowledge.

I hope we don’t get yet another licensed chapter. A lot of us have been asking for something original.
4 -
The next one won't have a map. The originals always get a map
3 -
Same..... hearing about certain licenses too often just ruins the hype for me...
0 -
One of my most wanted chapters is The Shining. But the next chapter isn't suppose to have a map and I think the Overlook Hotel is pretty memorable. So idk.
0 -
Ok Behaviour you got me on the ST hype but if the next chapter is a licensed one even if you bring a damn Jason im not buying it. It's getting outrageous now, why do we even earn shards just delete them and make us buy everyting with money.

It would be weird to release an original killer without a map. And the next killer won't get one
3 -
Apart from Myers, none of the licensed killers we have gotten are scary IMO.
0 -
I much prefer original killers simply because licensed killers are starting to get old and tend to be a "quick hype". Don't get me wrong I still love getting them (in my opinion the Saw chapter was my favorite release) but the original killers always have more interesting lore/fan made stuff and you get to see the creativity at BHVR shine.
1 -
Imagine Annie Wilkes with her hammer as a killer? Omggggg
0 -
I'll be happy with pennywise DLC
But i'll be sad again if they made clown even more forgettable since new freddy
5 -
That's all fine and dandy for your creative thirst, but of the last four original killers only Spirit has satisfied the fan base. Legion, Plague, Clown are all seen as weak.
So I'm not bothered about originality. And scare factor isn't even on the table because honestly only Myers is legit creepy IMO. Including among the originals.
2 -
Could be interesting...could mean absolutely nothing.
Maybe it'll just be Pennywise stand-alone.

Not a massive IT fan, but I can imagine bringing Pennywise to the game would be on a par with Stranger Things chapter, which is a good thing!
Personally, I'd be up for old Nathan Grantham! Wheeeere's myyy caaaaaake!?!?!
1 -
I'd probably make an exception if it was Tim Curry Pennywise but the new one is truly awful. Every single one of Andrés Muschietti's horror films I have seen should fall under thriller rather than horror and even then it's at a push. Although I still wouldn't consider Tommy Lee Wallace's It horror either, it was still much better.

Please be Carrie please be Carrie please be Carrie
3 -
To each their own, but as entertaining as Curry was, and he was the only highlight of that very dated 1990 TV movie, he did not have a single creepy moment in it. He always came across as a goofy comical trickster. They made no attempt to give any insight into his character either.
Skarsgard's Pennywise had many moments of creepiness. They actually put some depth into him, too, by tapping into his need to feed off fear, and the history of Pennywise in the town of Derry. The surprising massive success of Muschetti's IT showed that audiences were thirsty for an updated version of Pennywise, and embraced it.

Im the ONLY JEFF!

I want to play as the vending machine. That would be an awesome mori.
4 -
To everyone whining about Pennywise not being scary- can you please let me know which dbd killer is scary, because I don't know of any scary killers. But I'm largely dead inside and nothing scares me.
