In all Honesty Bamboozle, Spirit Fury + Enduring Combo, and Hex: No One Escapes Death are all bad perks that shouldn't exist in the current state yet I see a ton of terrible to mediocre killers use them. Whys that?
Back on topic though.
If your worried about the sound of the vault being blocked you have 2 choices. Pay attention and turn your camera around or turn up your headset and pay attention. Either of these will help you in multiple fronts.

I think it's bugged right now, even within 8 meters I don't hear it, and it's not always as easy as turning my camera around to look at the window. what if I'm running to the left or right and don't have LoS on it?

Let's assume your looping him at a jungle gym. You happen to miss said sound and didnt see the visuals at first. You should be able to notice it prior to running at the window and be able to drop the pallet, abandon the loop, or back to a second window.
As I vault I know the direction I'm going so I flick my camera back to watch there actions. I would suggest starting to do that.

obviously I do that. once they vault I'm on the move, so I cant keep my eyes on the window as im turning corners.
I shouldn't get that info so late in the loop, I should know after he vaults if he has bamboozle. I don't because the sounds arent working it seems

If the sound of a window being blocked getting reduced is completely ruining your game experience then you have more problems than Bamboozle.
An actual problem is having an infinite that the Devs haven't fixed and not having Bamboozle. A real problem is having a Survivor use an infinite and HEAR you use Bamboozle and then abandon the loop because they know you're not an idiot.

did I say it was? it's just annoying how an already bs perk isnt giving the sound indicator it's supposed to.
and how is that second scenario a problem? you closed the window so u can continue botting, don't expect the survivor to do the same

That means nothing. The perk is to counter loops and infinites, preventing the survivor from keeping the killer at bay with this added chase pressure. The perk exists for that sole reason. If a really good killer main uses it, are they considered bad?

Good killer mains don't use Bamboozle unironically.
