Have maps gotten too large?
With the speed that gens are getting done at these days, i think it’s a fair question to ask if the maps are too large to apply adequate pressure unless your a high moblile killer. I’m talking about Mount Oromond ,Suffocation Pit, and especially Temple of Purgation, etc. From the survivor side, games can last as little as 5 minutes even with ruin up, and there have been many cases where some survivors don’t even see the killer. The killer side is even worse. It feels like it’s practically impossible to be everywhere at once and you can play without many mistakes but still have 4 escape. What are your guys’ thoughts?

There are definitely a lot of maps that seem a little to big. Rotten Fields in particular comes to mind.

But yes, big maps tend to suck.

@Krustykerbz I think they have, and I've made that comment in gen-rushing threads. I personally don't think gen-speed is the issue. I feel it's the size of a lot of the maps, which makes applying proper and adequate pressure extremely difficult for a majority of the killers.

They shrink Pale Rose then release Mount Oromond.
Getting mixed messages. 😐

There are quite a few maps that are still way too large to properly apply pressure for the majority of the killers.
