PS4 Matchmaking
Matchmaking is pretty much broken on ps4, and the devs don’t even acknowledge it. As a killer, 8 out of every 10 survivors I get matched up with are red ranks beginning for me at rank 11. It’s ridiculous, and it’s been like this for at least 3 or 4 months. I purposely stay around green ranks because I just want to have fun and I enjoy playing all of the killers, not just the top tier. I enjoy playing fun builds, but it’s not fun when I’m only getting matched with sweaty red ranks. And 90% of them are playing swf because of the ease of accessibility on the platform. Meanwhile, I play survivor at rank 11 and get matched up almost exclusively with yellow ranks, and even rank 20s. I don’t know what the problem is, but if there’s such a consistent gap between ranks, maybe it’s time to balance some things. I also find it highly convenient that the devs keep the monthly match result data under lock and key. I would love to see what that data reflects.

They have said they're aware of this problem and are working on a hotfix for it.

I hope you guys are right. Because this has been an ongoing issue for months now. I’m starting to lose patience. It really drives me nuts because I honestly believe that if rank 11 survivors were getting matched into rank 2 killers 80% of the time, it would have already been fixed.
