Why do we get so many bad perks?

Why can't we get good or atleast usable perks? All of the demogorgons perks are so bad i dont ever see myself using it ever again now that i have the adept.

Surge is only decent combined with surveillance, but that is TWO perk slots for a miniscule effect compared to any single meta perk.

I have suggested this before, but im saying it again. Let the community atleast vote up one perk made bythe community per chapter for both sides so we atleast get ONE decent perk on each side. Not to be rude, but especially on killers, behaviour either dont want to. Or can't make good perks...

Inner strenght is decent. And fixated would be good if they remove the uninjured restriction, but that is 1-2 decent perks from a total pool of 9 perks.

Other than this the chapter is great tho :)

I feel that BHVR is afraid of bringing good Perks. For Survivor you basically need the Basegame, free DLCs and the Halloween DLC. For Killer its a little bit better, but having 1 good Perk at max for Killer per DLC is still not good at all.

If everyone has 24 perk slots, depend on powerful or really weak perk, it consume 4-8 slots (average is 6 slots per perk)

Something like, No mither 4 slots, Adrenaline 8 slots; BBQ 7 slots , Thanatophobia 5 slots ect... When you snap in weak perks, you can put more perks and so on. This will encourage people to use weak perks.

So the good perks look good /s

They're afraid of disrupting the meta, especially on the survivorside since they already have broken perks like Adren and DS (Grabs shouldn't trigger DS. I had someone cleansing my NOED once and I couldn't do anything cause they had DS. I either let them cleanse it or get DSed and they ran out the exit.)

its still possible to make good perks without making them OP or take over the meta. Perks like inner strength is situational making it not super good, but since it is VERY good in that situation and synergises well with other perks it will be used, but perks like mindbreaker is so situational AND is not even good when it maybe works making it such a bad perk.

I think BHVR just needs to start looking at perks and making some more stuff for both sides in general that are gonna drive people towards them as alternatives to the current stale meta of seeing the same 10-15 perks in every lobby on both sides.

Head On was a good start on survivor. Inner Strength is probably going to be as well.

But we still need stuff that totally gets people away from the Ruins, Sloppys, Adrenalines, Decisives and stuff.

I'd think it'd help out the game a little until they figure out how to shake up the gameplay in another way.

you can just swing at them instead of grabbing by lunging instead of tapping it

(Inner Strength will be meta btw)

"Surge" is, despite how many glorious 4kd people had with that perk, the best perk of the demogorgon and still very bad. "Surge" would be nice if it's affecting the nearest 2/3/4 gens. "Mindbreaker" needs a complete rework. Don't lettin people vault around a gen that's done...situational i guess.

    I agree.

So many new perks are simply held back by terrible numbers and unnecessary cooldowns.

Surge for example needs a larger radius and doesn't even deserve a cooldown on it. Then it might actually be decent.
