    I went Hillbilly almost immediately.

    Got pretty tired of his one-dimensional gameplay though.

    The Doctor was my first good killer.

    These days i only play him for nostalgia and to hear his laugh. The Plague is my new favorite.

    I picked up Doctor when I first started the game and did pretty well. That was, of course, an impossible skill checks build to make up for my poor chasing.

    I actually first bought Leatherface solely for BBQ, because I hated playing Hillbilly and I assumed he would be similar. Plus, he has such a dismal reputation among the killer literati. I was wrong, loved him from the first time I picked him up. He feels nothing like the frenetic meth head Billy is, he wields that chainsaw like a pro. Once I first learned that I could turn sharp corners and follow survivor jukes, I was hooked.

    Then I learned that, unlike Billy, he's still a threat even when his saw hits the environment. Then it was the survivors who were hooked, har har.

    Myers was love at first play too. I'd been reading about him and watching streams of him for days, but I wanted to unlock M&A before playing him (had the idea I'd get it cheaper and sooner if I unlocked beforehand). So I did 35 levels on Doctor, occasional fun times but mostly misery as all the grinding got me into the green ranks where survivors aren't as easily fazed by Madness.

    By the time I actually got around to trying Myers, I was pretty pessimistic. I was trying to talk my anxiety down before the first match, remind myself I was new at this, only level 1 with him, another humiliating loss was likely, etc.

    4k. Effortless, brutal, thrilling. Never looked back.
