A patch that'll put an end to the lag switcher wave.

Seriously, I've had enough of these As5h0les, I've recently went on a lag switcher streak.
And I managed to get 8 lag switchers in a row. Please put an end to this!

Why are we still here?
Just to suffer?

The only fix is the Dedicated server, For Honor did it within a year, I'm sure DBD can do it as well since DBD earn more money than For Honor

It would also get rid of all cheaters and alike and regional block preventing people with 300-500 ping where they don't belong, it's really a shame

I also really disliked the fact that when some survivors have internet issues on their end they would blame the Killer, and ended up reporting when it's their fault. Even a slight upload from a member of your household, be it download P or H what not can affect this heavily and causes internet problems

We all know this will never happen sadly :(

Really great opinion overall, you may say that it'll never happen.
But as I keep my useless hopes up I can always wish for a better day to come.
The least I can expect out of them is to release 'something' that'll fix these issues in between one of the upcoming mid chapter patches.

Otherwise, there are always more games out there.

They have considered getting dedicated servers in the past and mention possible getting them. So its entirely possible

I still don't understand why this game is against getting servers. The p2p is very exploitable and games like even Friday are getting servers.

    Yeah.

Well if you would have seen it you would have trusted me, I'm talking about me running 20 meters away and still beeing hit.
I also ran in one direction and teleported to the other side of the map.
    Do you call that lag?

    Yeah.

I agree. I can count the times i faced a lag switcher on 1 hand. But the times i´ve been accused of lag switching... even the slightest lag counts as lag switching to sore losers.
Had survivors from Russia, North America, Thailand and Japan in the same lobby. Everyone clicks ready despite red ping, i guarantee that at least one complains after the match about lag switching.

In my whole DBD career I have occured 3 lagg switchers.
I guess you are talking about laggspikes which is completley fine, dont forget that this is a P2P game

Actually the lag switchers have been getting worse lately and I've had my share of videos I've taken where everything is fine then you get frozen and then speed up. But it only happens when the killer is in a chase, and when the chase ends it's super smooth again.

I've played in 4 man swf groups and we've all had good latency and connections from same area of country and different isps yet magically you get rubber banded. What's even more frustrating is when you comment on the spikes occasionally even nicely they brag about it. The hackers are the same way when they run across map insta downing or use aura hacks.

Whether you get lagswitchers or don’t doesn’t really matter, dedicated servers are needed.

Maybe you need better Internet, and I'm not being a smart ass. I've been playing since beta, and maybe... MAYBE encountered 2 or 4 people lag switching. I jsut don't buy that it is this common.

I have even been accused of lag switching with a nearly perfect connection, so to me people are clearly confusing bad Internet with cheating.

For me great internet, never been accused of lag switching as killer but it does exist and time of day seems to be a better indicator of it. But dedicated severs would solve a lot of problems.

I've got one of the best routers on the market, so I don't think I'm in need of any better connection.
But you've got a great point.

Try rebooting all your equipment... If you are getting a rash of laggy games, it might be you not the killers.

I get the odd issue now and then, where 3 or 4 games in a row will lag out at weird spots. So I reboot everything, then all my games after that are fine. If it is more then 2 in a row, it might be you.

    same here.
I always ask the survivors what kind of connection they have after they accused me of laggswitch. They alwasy bragg about their insanely high down/up speed but have actually no clue what stability of a connection means. If you ask again, then they tell you that they use wifi....
