Dbd

Does Dead By Day Light developers listen to the community or Not? Because alot of feedbacks/suggestions given by the community about so many things in the game but i feel like they are not listening to any of it ? I have played the most famous and success game in the last 2-3 years which is ''Fortnite'' and when i was contacting with a support for some issue or a suggestion they always listen to my suggestion and they always have contact with the streamers&Pro Players to ask for their advice about how to develop the game and what should be in the next update i mean i dont understand i feel like this game is getting worse!!

Can i get an answer from any Admin here!?

And one more question why not make the game for free? there's so many famous games free to play and they earn way more millions than any not free game! by Skins & emotes .. etc.

I hope the community take this seriously.

    Oh, they listen.

They just don't follow sometimes. And don't compare this game to that (frankly atrocious) game Fortnite.

I'm not trying to compare the game it self here i'm comparing the admins the developers how hard they work! how hard they listen to the community. hope u understand!

Some of the requests the community makes here do not fit in the game, are too costly, or are too much work for miniscule changes. I agree they need to open their ears more, but they've done just fine so far.

If the devs listened to any "community suggestion" DBD would be dead by now.

they have not done anything fine so far my man i dont know if you play the game so much but so many players lately delete the game and (3 of my friends did delete the game already). and i'm thinking about that too if they dont fix this game!

If you saw the game a year ago, you'd know how far we've come. The Freddy rework, Spirit and GF and Demogorgon, and more bug fixes than I can count. And yes, I do play a lot.

There's really great players/youtubers/Streamers that can help to develop the game Like No0b3, Monto .. etc Why not just ask them

Because those people have or can have significant bias towards the side they play the most.

The game is imo for free... Sort of. It is really often to have on Steam for 50 (or even 75?)% off inclusive all the dlcs, besides the newest dlc.

    Imo, dbds problems are more:

-The balance since the most killers are underpowered and solo survivors can have it really hard.

-That it is not realy friendly to new players (dbd should have better tutorials for beginners, maybe even link to YouTube videos from streamers that make tutorial videos, so that you can watch those videos while you are in the main menu of dbd or something like that [would also help them]).

-That the matchmaking likes to put rank 18 together with rank 2 and other "jokes".

-That they seem not to care about what they advertise and what is then in the game - the difference of this 2 things can make people upset that are not mindless sheeps.

-That it is always the same. Always the same objectives and mostly the same type of killers (m1 killer). For people that like variation is that terrible.

TL:DR Dbds problem are not to get new players, but its problem is to make them stay.

Are you a survivor? Then yes, they don't listen to you. Try to play as killer

  • Is this discussion made because ppl didn't agree with you on the bring back old Legion thread, cuz if so.. Old Legion is ded🦀🦀🦀 and it should stay that way. Forever.

Good one my dude, well i can say yes and your opinion about legion is wrong and so many people said old Legion was fine, btw i'm not here to talk about legion i'm talking about dbd in general thanks for your time my man!

Not agreeing with someone's opinion = they are immediately wrong 🤔. OK.

But seriously if we are talking about dbd in general, old Legion is one thing to talk about, and if you decided that most of the community uninstalling and having DC rates going sky high is "fine", then idk what your thinking. I miss old Legion as well, but its better having a killer who's crap than having a killer who was both crap and annoying af to deal with.

Changing Legion was one of the good changes to the game for DBD in general as ppl stopped dcing at first and player retention was improving slightly. That itself improved the health of the game vastly.

Besides old Legion was a 110% killer with a tunneling machine power that you could only stall out by doing a vaulting juke so many times, plus Legion had the lunge exploit and moonwalk exploit with his Frenzy reduced cool down mechanics and the deep wound mechanics.

Finally, no. We are not making the game free to play, skins themselves already cost bombs like 10 pounds per skin, unless u wanna grind your heart out for iri shards and save up but let's be honest who is bothered for that. Making the game f2p would just make the skin costs rise so much more, and more emotes would just lead to more toxicity. T bagging and fingerpointing already cause enough problems for some people, having some stupid dance ain't gonna improve anything

Edit: I just checked back on the thread u made and literally everyone said a flat no to old Legion whilst one was kinda defending :), the majority says its a no

Always when I read things like that, I ask myself... "Where is the evidence from that guy?"

I mean, he says "most of the community uninstalling and highest dc rate"...

Did you have access to informations that we as ordinary users not have?

Otherwise, you are just hypocritical and entitled in your opinion. Either because you don't know it better, or on purpose.

So... Where are your hidden statistics? On which official site we can watch how many people have deinstall the game because of the Legion (besides steam)?

Besides steam, because steam shows the opposite.

Shortly after the Legion patch you had see a small pitch that has go down in the player numbers, before it has later recover again.*

And that also fits to my personal experience. After the Legion patch, me and 3 of my friends have stop playing the game.

3 of this guys (inclucsive me) were either Legion mains, or have them at least sometimes play. 1 was a survivor. You ask yourself maybe, why a survivor would leave the game if a killer gots buried to death with a patch like the Legion patch?

The answer is simple: He was already bored by dbd and to take one of the few things out of the game that have entertain him with something different as always the same m1 killers, was not the brightes idea, bhvr had towards survivors like him.

While others prefer to stay in their comfort zone (that is ok), others need to have a challenge (and that should also be ok).

Edit:* After a month or 2 was it, I believe.

    This here.

Half the things people suggest in the forum are dumb ideas or are completely biased to one side or the other.

Hell, you could argue they listen too much sometimes and make unnecessary changes. Healing for example did not need to be nerfed, because after it was, no one heals anymore and just focuses gens creating what killers call "gen rush". Do you know what people would be doing if healing and self care wasn't nerfed into the ground? Healing.

That was one change that arguably CREATED a problem
